The armed forces in Yemen reveal new missiles and systems

The Yemeni armed forces, during the huge military parade that took place in the capital, Sanaa, on Wednesday, in Al-Sabaeen Square, on the occasion of the eighth anniversary of the blessed September 21 revolution, revealed various systems of strategic deterrence weapons, starting from ballistic and winged missiles, drones, air defense missiles and naval missiles to “Hani” armored vehicle, which came in memory of the martyr Hani Tomer, and it is an offensive and defensive armored vehicle characterized by flexibility when moving, speed and when engaging.

The weapons that were revealed during the display included a short-range, solid-fuel "Badr 2" missile, a second-generation "Badr" missile, in addition to "Badr-3" missile, a third-generation and medium-range, solid-fuel Badr missile.

The missile force revealed “Hatam” ballistic missile, a fourth generation of Badr missiles, long-range and solid-fueled, as well as “Karr” ballistic missile, with a range of 300 km, which operates on solid fuel with an intelligent guidance system and the weight of its warhead is half a ton.

Among the new missiles of the Missile Force , “Quds 3” is a long-range, winged cruise missile that operates on liquid fuel and is distinguished by its ability to hide from radar detection, and “Falaq” ballistic missile, a long-range liquid-fueled, carrying several warheads.

Naval Force

As for the naval force, it unveiled the “Red Sea” missile, a missile developed from Sa’ir missile, which works with two thermal and radar systems and is characterized by its high speed, in addition to “Mohet” missile, which is a missile developed from Qaher 2M missile, which works with solid and liquid fuel and is characterized by its ability operation in all weather conditions.

As well as a locally-made “Asef” missile, which operates on solid fuel, with an intelligent guidance and control system, and the weight of its warhead exceeds half a ton.

During the majestic display, the naval force revealed advanced warships of Asif 1, Asif 2, Asif 3, Toofan 1, Toofan 2, Toufan 3, and navigation boats.

The new boats are characterized by their high speed and ability to maneuver, and carry a variety of weapons and offensive and defensive tasks against fixed or moving targets.

The naval force also revealed new naval mines of "Masgeor I", "Masgur II" and "Thaqib" mines.

Air Defense

The air defense of the Yemeni army and the popular committees also revealed “Miraj” missile, which is developed from Badr-1-P missile, and it works with solid fuel, and with two thermal and radar systems, which is not affected by interference.

The air defense unveiled "Saqr" missile, which has a speed of up to 200 meters per second.

Three air defense missile systems were also revealed: “Sadiq,” “Haidar,” and a P-19 radar, which are detection and tracking systems for hostile targets.

With regard to drones, the Air Force revealed a kidnapper 2 aircraft, equipped with a target sensing system, and carrying out offensive tactical tasks, and used against the mechanisms and armored vehicles of the aggression, in addition to Mersad 2 aircraft, which is a reconnaissance aircraft, which takes off vertically, and has the ability to fly for 8 hours.
