His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, affirmed Yemen's support for the Islamic Republic of Iran in its right to defend its sovereignty and deter aggressors.

President Al-Mashat said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), "There is no international charter that authorizes anyone to unleash their rabid dog on whomever they want. The United Nations Charter is the governing contract for relations between states, and we will not allow it to be violated."

He pointed out that violating the United Nations Charter would turn the world into a jungle where only the strong survive. He emphasized that it is the duty of some countries to preserve international peace and security, not to engage in aggression and interfere in the sovereignty of other countries.
