Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone call with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during which they discussed developments in the Zionist aggression against Iran.
Kremlin reported that both sides strongly condemned the military attacks launched by the Zionist entity against Iran, considering that the continuation of these attacks would threaten the security and stability of the region.
For his part, the Turkish presidency explained that Erdogan stressed during the call that what he described as the "spiral of violence" that began with the Zionist attacks on Iranian territory has become a direct threat to regional peace, calling for the need to end the conflict and prepare the ground for diplomatic efforts.
Erdogan to Pezeshkian: We are ready to work to resume negotiations
Erdogan also affirmed, in a phone call with his Iranian counterpart, Masoud Pezeshkian, Turkey's readiness to play "a facilitating role to end this conflict immediately and work to resume the nuclear negotiations as soon as possible."
