Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei responded to IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi by saying, "You have betrayed the non-proliferation regime and made the agency a partner in this unjust and aggressive war." He added, "Your admission of no evidence of a systematic effort by Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon is too late."

He added, "You concealed this same fact in your completely biased report, which three European countries and the United States used to pass a resolution containing a baseless allegation of "non-compliance" against Iran."

He continued, "The resolution itself provided the ultimate pretext for a war-loving and genocidal regime to wage an aggressive war against Iran and illegally attack our peaceful nuclear facilities."

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman emphasized that Iran is being subjected to an illegal attack by Israel and that it is defending itself against this blatant aggression.

Baqaei added that residential areas and hospitals are being bombed by Israel, and that hundreds have been martyred as a result of this aggression. He noted that Iran's nuclear facilities were bombed by Israel, and that Iran is in close contact with the countries of the world and has called on the Security Council to assume its responsibilities.
