The Palestinian Journalists Protection Center (PJPC) condemned the continued, deliberate, and repeated cutting of the internet and communications networks in the Gaza Strip by the Zionist enemy authorities.

The center added in a statement that the enemy is preventing technical crews from repairing damage caused by the bombing, leading to a near-total paralysis of communications services and impacting the work of journalists and media outlets.

It emphasized that the internet outage in Gaza is not a technical glitch, but rather a deliberate crime aimed at concealing war crimes against civilians and obstructing the work of journalists and relief crews.

It explained that since October 7, 2023, the Zionist enemy has disrupted the internet 11 times in an attempt to isolate Gaza from the world and prevent the documentation of violations.

It noted that the communications blackout constitutes a direct attack on the freedom of journalism and the public's right to information, leaving journalists working in dangerous isolation, unable to report or communicate with their media outlets.
