The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip reported on Sunday that the number of victims who lost their lives as a result of what it described as death traps linked to the distribution of Israeli-American aid has risen to 450.

The media office stated in a statement on its Telegram channel that “the total number of victims awaiting this aid has reached 450 martyrs, in addition to 3,466 wounded and 93 missing.”

The statement indicated that the Israeli occupation has continued, since October 7, 2023, to wage a war described as genocide against Gaza, involving killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international appeals and rulings of the International Court of Justice calling for an end to these operations.

It explained that this war, supported by the US, has so far killed and wounded more than 187,000 Palestinians, most of whom are women and children, in addition to more than 11,000 missing and tens of thousands displaced.

The blockade and famine have also caused significant loss of life, especially among children, according to the media office.
