The Israeli entity home front command announced on Monday that significant damage has been inflicted on residential infrastructure in the occupied territories as a result of Iranian missile strikes since the start of the Israeli entity’s war with Iran on June 13.
According to the statement, approximately 240 residential buildings were completely or partially damaged or destroyed, including nearly 2,000 apartments, leaving 9,000 people homeless. Temporary shelter has been provided for those affected in hotels or with relatives and friends.
The intensive Iranian attacks deep inside the occupied territories have increased the human and material costs for the Israeli entity, forcing the evacuation of 5,000 Zionist settlers amid attempts to return them to destroyed homes.
In another context, Karnit Flug, former Governor of the Bank of Israel, warned of serious economic repercussions, noting that the length of the war will determine the extent of this damage.
