Tehran Governor Mohammad Motamedian said on Tuesday that the attacks launched by the Zionist entity on the Iranian capital resulted in the complete destruction of more than 120 residential units, while more than 500 were severely damaged.

Motamedian added in an interview with Khabar TV: "Some of our martyrs are innocent women and children who were martyred in the attacks and brutal aggression of the Zionist entity."

He continued: "This morning, 12 areas in the capital, Tehran, were subjected to brutal attacks by the Zionist entity, most of which were residential areas."

He added: "Thanks to the measures taken by the armed forces, the headquarters of the Tharallah and Basij (Mobilization Forces) and checkpoints throughout Tehran, we have gained control over the security of the capital, which is a sign of strength."

The Zionist enemy launched an aggression against Iran, beginning at midnight on June 13-14, resulting in hundreds of martyrs and wounded.
