At least two Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces as the regime forces expand their deadly raids across the occupied West Bank, concurrent with the ongoing genocidal war on the besieged Gaza Strip.

The official Palestinian Wafa news agency, citing security sources, reported that the 16-year-old Amjad Nassar Awad Hawshiya succumbed to his critical gunshot wounds early on Tuesday after being shot by Israeli occupation troops in the center of Ramallah.

The Israeli forces also broke into a number of Palestinian homes on Rukab Street and in the Ein Misbah neighborhood, violently ransacking personal belongings and interrogating several young men.

Elsewhere in the town of ad-Dhahiriya, located 22 kilometers (13.6 miles) southwest of the city of al-Khalil in the southern West Bank, a young Palestinian man was shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces near the controversial separation wall.

Security and local sources told Wafa that the occupation forces opened fire at Samer Bassam al-Zagharneh, a resident of the town of Ar-Ramadin, critically wounding him.

The sources added that Israeli forces later handed over the youth's body to Palestinian medical crews. He was transferred to Dura Governmental Hospital’s morgue.

Israel has ramped up its aggression against Palestinians across the West Bank since October 7, 2023, when it launched a genocidal war against the Gaza Strip.

Hundreds of Palestinians have been killed and thousands of others injured by Israeli settlers or troops across the occupied territory since the onset of the war.

More than 700,000 Israelis live in over 230 settlements built since the 1967 Israeli occupation of the West Bank and East al-Quds.

The international community views the settlements as illegal under international law and the Geneva Conventions due to their construction on the occupied territories.
