A group of 169 relief organizations has called for a halt to the US-Israeli aid distribution mechanism led by the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation."
These demands come after almost daily reports of Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation forces while waiting for aid near their centers.
In a joint statement, the organizations called for a return to the UN-led aid delivery mechanism in the Gaza Strip until last March, when the enemy tightened its blockade on the Strip. Aid was gradually allowed in late May and distributed through the affiliated organization, which international organizations refused to cooperate with.
They called for immediate action to end the deadly Israeli distribution mechanism in Gaza, including the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation."
They called for a return to previous UN coordination mechanisms and for allowing aid and commercial goods into the Strip.
The statement criticized the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, which, starting in late May, began managing aid instead of the usual international humanitarian organizations.
