The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs stated today, Thursday, that the Zionist enemy escalated its violations against Islamic and Christian holy sites during the month of June, most notably the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and Ibrahimi Mosque.

In its monthly report, the Endowments Ministry explained that the enemy and its settlers carried out more than 25 raids on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, during which Talmudic rituals were performed. They also closed the mosque 11 times and prevented worshippers from entering under the pretext of the "security situation." They also restricted the number of worshippers inside the mosque and imposed dangerous Judaization measures on the Old City and the Dome of the Rock.

The report indicated that thousands of worshippers performed Eid al-Adha prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque amidst severe restrictions. Israeli soldiers and settlers stormed the Dome of the Rock courtyards during the prayer, and settlers performed public rituals of singing, dancing, and clapping.

Regarding Ibrahimi Mosque, Israeli authorities banned the call to prayer 89 times during June, closed it to worshippers and visitors for 12 consecutive days, and refused to hand it over on Eid al-Adha and the anniversary of the Prophet's migration.

The report also documented the installation of alarm systems in the corridors of the mosque, the presence of a number of Israeli soldiers on its roof, the illumination of its walls with Israeli flags, the closure of its eastern gate, and the forcible lighting of the surrounding area.
