Dozens of Palestinians have been martyred across Gaza Strip since dawn Thursday amid continued Israeli air and artillery strikes, according to Palestinian sources. The sources described the ongoing Israeli aggression as a war of genocide entering its 636th day, targeting the starving and displaced population with what they termed American political and military support, alongside international and Western silence and unprecedented abandonment by the international community and Arab states.

Palestinian sources reported that “several civilians have been martyred in Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip since dawn on Thursday.” One fatality and three injuries were reported at the Al-Saraya field hospital after shelling near the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. Six citizens were killed in a shelling incident targeting those waiting for aid near the Netzarim junction, south of Gaza City.

According to the sources, Israeli aircraft launched an airstrike on the Shuja’iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City. Israeli artillery shelled the Shuja’iyya and Zeitoun neighborhoods in the same area, and Israeli forces fired toward the eastern areas of Gaza City. The Israeli army also reportedly blew up residential buildings east of Gaza City. Two fatalities and dozens of injuries resulted from targeting people pushing aid east of the Nabulsi roundabout south of Gaza City.

The sources indicated that “occupation forces committed a massacre that claimed the lives of 11 martyrs after bombing the Mustafa Hafez School, which shelters displaced persons west of Gaza City.” Occupation aircraft launched two raids on the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip and bombed the Fahd al-Sabah School in the al-Zarqa area in the al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City.

Three citizens, including Umaima al-Boji, were reported martyred, and others injured when the occupation bombed the tents of displaced persons in the al-Majayda neighborhood in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis. Eight citizens were confirmed martyred and more than 50 injured when the occupation bombed the tent of the Abu Asi family, also in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis.

The occupation forces also blew up a number of citizens’ homes east of Gaza City.” With unwavering American support, Israeli occupation forces are waging a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

According to the Ministry of Health, this Israeli war has so far claimed the lives of more than 57,012 people, wounded 134,592, and missing more than 11,000. Famine has claimed dozens of lives, while more than two million Palestinians are living in conditions of forced displacement amidst total destruction. Of the 6,454 martyrs, 22,551 were injured, targeted after the occupation reneged on the ceasefire agreement on March 18, 2025.

The death toll since the occupation transformed limited distribution points into killing traps on May 27 has reached approximately 640, with more than 4,488 wounded and 39 missing. This has been achieved through the use of the so-called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation”—which has an Israeli-American affiliation and is rejected by the United Nations—as a tool to impose the equation of submission and killing under the guise of “humanitarian work.”
