Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced today, Sunday, that the air defenses were able to force several Israeli enemy aircraft to enter Yemeni airspace.

In a post on his X platform page, Brigadier General Yahya Saree confirmed that the Yemeni air defenses effectively confronted the Israeli aggression and forced a large portion of its formations to leave.

Brigadier General Saree explained that the operations to confront the enemy aircraft were carried out with a large batch of locally manufactured surface-to-air missiles, causing great confusion among the enemy pilots and their operations rooms.

The Armed Forces spokesman reiterated that our air defenses are ready and prepared to confront the Israeli attacks on our country with all strength and power, God willing.

The Yemeni Armed Forces reassured our people and the free people of our nation that they are fully prepared and capable, with God's help, of confronting the aggressors.

They also assured that these attacks will not affect them or their military capabilities. They added that support operations for Gaza and Palestine will continue at a rapid pace, and that they will defend our country and nation with all their might, God willing.

On Sunday evening, the Zionist enemy launched a series of airstrikes on the ports of Hodeidah, Ras Issa, and Salif, as well as the Ras al-Kathib Central Power Plant in Hodeidah governorate.
