In the latest blatant violation of a shaky ceasefire agreement with Lebanon, the Israeli military has carried out two separate attacks in the southern part of the Arab nation, killing at least one person in each.

The Public Health Emergency Operations Center at the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced in a statement that an Israeli airstrike targeted a vehicle in the town of Deir Kifa, which lies in the Tyre district of South Governorate, on Monday.

The strike set the car ablaze and resulted in the death of an individual.

Local sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, later identified the victim as Saeed Ali Haidar, a member of the Hezbollah resistance movement.

Additionally, a person lost his life after an Israeli drone targeted the neighborhood of Beit Lif in the Bint Jbeil district of Nabatieh Governorate with two missiles.

The attack came after at least 10 people were injured in overnight Israeli attacks in Lebanon on Sunday.

The Health Ministry, cited by the official NNA news agency, said Israeli strikes on the Burj Rahal municipality in Tyre district led to the injury of nine citizens.

A child was seriously injured in strikes that targeted Wadi al-Zararia of Sidon district and was transferred to intensive care.

Following significant losses sustained over nearly 14 months of conflict and the failure to meet its objectives in the offensive against Lebanon, Israel was compelled to accept a ceasefire with Hezbollah, which took effect on November 27.

Since then, Israeli forces have been launching attacks on Lebanon, including airstrikes, in breach of the ceasefire.

On January 27, Lebanon announced its decision to extend the ceasefire with Israel until February 18.

Although the deadline of February 18 has passed, Israel continues to maintain its occupation of five significant regions in southern Lebanon, namely Labbouneh, Mount Blat, Owayda Hill, Aaziyyeh, and Hammamis Hill, all situated near the border.

Lebanon has condemned the continued presence of Israeli military forces as a violation of the ceasefire agreement and the established timeline for withdrawal. Senior officials in Beirut have expressed their commitment to take "all necessary measures" to remove the occupying troops from the nation.
