The Yemeni Military Media Unit released on Wednesday evening footage showing the moments when the Yemeni Naval Forces targeted and sank the ETERNITY C vessel as it attempted to pass through the Red Sea en route to the port of Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) in occupied Palestine—violating the naval blockade imposed by the Yemeni Armed Forces on Israeli ports.
The footage shows how the Yemeni navy first engaged with the vessel and its crew before launching the strike. A warning was issued via radio, instructing the ship to turn back and avoid heading toward Israeli ports. The navy refrained from immediate attack and repeated its warning multiple times, but the ship’s captain refused to comply.
The video then shows the vessel being struck by several ballistic and cruise missiles, including a naval cruise missile. The attack caused direct hits, resulting in fires on board, visible breaches on the deck, significant damage to the command room, and flooding—ultimately leading to the ship’s complete sinking.
Earlier, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the sinking of the ETERNITY C, which was heading to the Port of Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) in occupied Palestine, in violation of Yemen’s naval blockade. The operation involved a drone boat strike and six cruise and ballistic missiles, fully sinking the vessel, with the entire event documented in audio and video.
Following the attack, Yemeni naval special forces rescued several crew members, providing medical care and transporting them to safety. This strike came after the ship and its owning company repeatedly ignored Yemeni warnings and resumed operations with the banned Israeli port.
Yemen’s military campaign targets all vessels linked to Israeli ports, aiming to pressure Israel to lift the siege on Gaza and stop its aggression. Despite repeated warnings, some companies continue violating the blockade, prompting decisive Yemeni naval responses.
The ETERNITY C incident follows the earlier sinking of the Magic Seas ship, which also ignored Yemeni radio warnings and was sunk after an unmanned boat set it on fire, followed by a special forces raid that detonated the ship. These operations, captured on high-resolution video, send a strong message to maritime companies about the consequences of defying Yemen’s blockade.
