Human rights and humanitarian organizations in San Pedro, California, organized a new protest as part of a series of weekly events demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

Dozens of people gathered in front of the South Bay Galleria shopping mall, chanting, "No return to normal life until a ceasefire is declared."

The event is part of an ongoing campaign in solidarity with the Palestinian people, demanding that the US administration halt military support for Israel and end the international silence regarding the daily massacres in Gaza.

Speakers emphasized that the protests will continue weekly until an immediate cessation of hostilities is achieved and those responsible for violations against civilians are held accountable.

Since October 7, 2023, enemy forces have been waging a genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, leaving more than 195,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing. Hundreds of thousands have been displaced, and famine has claimed the lives of many, including dozens of children.
