Dr. Khalil Al-Hayya, a senior leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in Gaza, expressed deep pride in Yemen’s military and popular support for the Palestinian people, describing it as a shining example of true solidarity.
In a televised speech on Monday, Al-Hayya called on Arab and Islamic nations—especially those bordering Palestine—to mobilize toward occupied Palestine by land and sea, to surround Zionist embassies, and to intensify full-spectrum boycotts—economic, political, and tourism-related—against the Israeli entity. He also urged legal action to pursue Zionist leaders, soldiers, and war criminals in international courts.
"We cannot accept this state of abandonment while our people are being slaughtered, starved, and massacred live on air—the most horrific Nazi-like genocide of modern times," Al-Hayya declared.
He condemned the so-called negotiations with Israel, asserting that the occupation uses talks as a cover to escalate its crimes. Despite what he described as “serious progress” in recent mediation rounds, Al-Hayya said Israel abruptly withdrew with U.S. complicity, aiming to stall, manipulate, and impose realities on the ground.
"Negotiations under siege and slow death are meaningless," he emphasized.
"The real test of any political process is the immediate and unconditional opening of Gaza’s crossings and the delivery of aid in a dignified and sufficient manner."
Al-Hayya also highlighted Hamas' flexibility throughout 22 months of negotiations, saying the movement had prioritized the preservation of Palestinian lives and shown goodwill on issues such as withdrawal, prisoner exchange, and aid mechanisms.
He condemned the so-called “airdrop aid” operations as media spectacles and death traps, warning of a dangerous Israeli plan to forcibly displace the population of Rafah, using a buffer zone to facilitate ethnic cleansing by sea or through Egypt.
Praising the steadfastness of the resistance, Al-Hayya saluted the Al-Qassam Brigades, Al-Quds Brigades, and all resistance factions for their heroic operations that "have stunned the world and made the Zionist enemy taste its own terror."
Al-Hayya urged the Arab and Islamic world to act immediately to break Gaza’s siege, declaring that silence is no longer helplessness—it is complicity in genocide. He demanded the severing of all political, diplomatic, and economic ties with the Zionist regime, and called for mass mobilizations and protests across the region.
In a direct appeal to Egypt, he warned of Israel’s plot to turn the Rafah crossing into a tool of starvation and death, and called on Cairo to reopen the crossing immediately. Addressing the Jordanian people, he urged them to sustain their uprising in defense of Al-Aqsa Mosque and against forced displacement schemes.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s U.S.-backed genocide in Gaza has martyred 59,821 Palestinians, the vast majority of them children and women, and left 144,851 injured, with thousands still buried under rubble as rescue efforts remain hindered by ongoing attacks and blockade.
