The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped, last night and at dawn Monday, a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank, amid clashes in some areas.

According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped three young men and detained others for a while following raids on homes in Azzun town, east of Qalqilya.

In Ramallah, the IOF kidnaped two citizens from al-Bireh City and another one from al-Mazra’ah al-Gharbiya village.

Israeli forces also raided several homes in the towns of Birzeit, Abu Qash and Abu Shukhaydam, northern Ramallah.

In Bethlehem, five citizens were taken prisoners following IOF raids on homes.

In al-Khalil, the IOF kidnaped two citizens after ransacking their homes in the towns of as-Samu and Bani Naim. Their families reported they were savagely beaten during their detention.

Meanwhile, the IOF set up several checkpoints at the entrances of al-Khalil City, its towns, villages and refugee camps, and closed some main and side roads leading to them.

In Tubas, Israeli troops stormed Aqaba town and handed a citizen a military notice ordering the demolition of his home.

Local sources said IOF vehicles were pelted with stones by local youths and came under fire from resistance fighters upon their withdrawal from Aqaba town.

They added that resistance fighters detonated two explosive devices at columns of moving IOF vehicles in the town and a nearby area.
