Several prominent Israeli websites were hit by a widespread cyberattack originating from Gaza, causing some to go offline and others to display politically charged messages.
The hacked sites showed a banner saying, “Time is running out,” with a message from Gaza’s resistance promising steadfastness against Israeli actions.
Targets included major sports websites such as those of basketball teams Hapoel Jerusalem, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hapoel Tel Aviv, and the Premier League management site.
Some sites remained down as of this morning.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has waged a genocidal war on Gaza, causing over 203,000 Palestinian deaths and injuries, mostly women and children, alongside thousands missing, mass displacement, and famine.
