The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Tuesday that three more adults have died in the past 24 hours due to famine and severe malnutrition.

In a brief statement, the ministry reported that the total number of people who have died from hunger-related causes has now reached 303, including 117 children.

On Sunday, Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), warned of a worsening famine in Gaza, saying that “hell is unfolding there in all its forms.”

The World Food Programme also recently sounded the alarm, revealing that one-third of Gaza’s population has gone days without food, describing the humanitarian situation as “unprecedented in its levels of hunger and despair.”

Since March 2, Israel has sealed off all border crossings into Gaza, effectively blocking the entry of humanitarian aid. Despite dozens of relief trucks stuck at the border, only limited quantities have been allowed in—nowhere near enough to meet the basic needs of the besieged population.
