The Women's Preparatory Committee for the Commemoration of the Prophet’s Birth Anniversary for the year 1447 AH organized a series of celebratory events and activities across all districts of the Capital Secretariat, in honor of the birth of Prophet Muhammad—peace and blessings be upon him and his purified family.
Speakers at the events underscored that the Yemeni people were among the first to embrace the message of the Prophet and played a vital role in the early Islamic conquests. They affirmed that, even today, Yemen remains at the forefront of defending the causes of the Muslim Ummah—particularly the Palestinian cause—and continues to stand firmly with the people of Gaza.
The speeches emphasized that these celebrations are deeply ingrained in Yemen’s cultural and spiritual identity. The Yemeni people, they noted, have always been known for their profound love for the Prophet, their unwavering adherence to his teachings, and their pride in following his example. Commemorating this blessed occasion reflects the timeless impact of the Prophet’s message, which transformed the course of history.
Speakers also called for broad and dignified participation in the central rally on the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal, to deliver a strong and clear message to the world: that the Yemeni people remain deeply rooted in their faith-based identity and maintain an unbreakable bond with the noble Messenger—peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
