The Ministry of Health and Environment has announced that at least 129 civilians were killed or wounded in the initial toll of Israeli airstrikes launched today on the capital, Sana'a, and the northern province of Al-Jawf.

Dr. Anees Al-Asbahi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, confirmed that seven civilians were martyred and around 100 others injured in the Israeli bombardment targeting the capital.

He also reported that two civilians were killed and 20 others wounded in an initial tally of the Israeli aggression on Al-Jawf province.

The Ministry strongly condemned the Zionist aggression targeting civilian, service-related, and residential facilities, including homes in Al-Tahrir neighborhood in central Sana'a, a vital health sector facility on Al-Sittin Street in the southwestern part of the capital, as well as the government complex in the city of Al-Hazm, Al-Jawf.
