The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed that the occupying Zionist entity will pay a heavy price for its continued aggression against Yemen, the latest of which is today’s heinous attack targeting numerous civilian sites in Sana’a and Al-Jawf, resulting in dozens of civilians killed and wounded.

In an official statement, the Ministry stressed that targeting civilians and civilian objects constitutes a blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law, particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949 and its 1977 Additional Protocol.

The Ministry praised the air defense forces for confronting the Zionist aircraft that attacked the Yemeni people, noting that this brutal Zionist aggression adds to the entity’s record of bloodshed and destruction.

The statement sharply condemned the shameful silence of the international community regarding the crimes committed by the Zionist enemy in Yemen, Gaza, and several countries in the region. This silence, it said, has emboldened the enemy to continue its rampage, arrogance, and tyranny, transforming it into a brutal entity that disregards international laws and commits unprecedented atrocities that stain humanity’s conscience.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated that this cowardly Zionist aggression will only strengthen Yemen and its people’s resolve to support Palestine, holding firmly to their moral and historical stance in solidarity with Gaza and the steadfast, resilient Palestinian people.
