"Israel" carried out over 600 military attacks on Syria within the past year, following the collapse of the previous government and the rise of individuals affiliated with Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) to power, a US-based war monitor reported.
The data, compiled by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data (ACLED) project, includes airstrikes, drone attacks, and artillery bombardments, primarily targeting the country’s south.
According to ACLED, "Israel" escalated its military campaign immediately after the fall of former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in December 2024. In the early phase, Israeli strikes reportedly crippled the remaining infrastructure of the Syrian Arab Army.
Since then, "Israel" has conducted consistent attacks, with an average of two strikes per day across key areas, including Quneitra, Dera’a, and the Damascus region.
