They are the remainder of Islam. For more than two years, they have stood in confrontation against American-Israeli recklessness and thuggery directed at the Palestinian people in Gaza, at a time when Arabs and Muslims have largely fallen into a state of paralysis, stripped of the ability to take any decision that would stand for religion, humanity, or geography. They are the remainder of Islam because, through their supportive stance toward Gaza, they shook dead consciences and revived—through their revolutionary uprising in support of the oppressed Palestinian people—what remains of values. They thus embodied the group described by the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) when he said: “Jihad will continue until the Day of Resurrection, and there will remain a group from my nation manifest upon the truth until the Day of Resurrection.”
On the Friday of Rajab—designated as the Day of Consolidating Identity and Enhancing Awareness—they reaffirmed that they remain faithful to their covenant and steadfast in the trench of defending Allah’s religion and the sanctity of the Ummah, confirming the sincerity of their allegiance and the firmness of their faith.
This occasion did not come upon them suddenly to remind them of that historic day when they chose the path of Islam and the path of truth. Rather, it arrived while they were at the peak of mobilization and readiness, as the enemies of Islam intensified their targeting of Muslim lands. Times have changed, and many around them have altered their paths, while distorted concepts of religion and faith—engineered by the conspiracies of Islam’s enemies—have surrounded them. Yet they remained the remainder of Islam.
For this reason, the Zionist lobby classifies Yemenis as a threat to its expansionist colonial project. The evidence of the past two years—marked by Yemeni persistence and steadfastness in defending national sovereignty and supporting the people of Gaza and the Palestinian cause more broadly—has driven the enemy into an abyss of despair and anxiety. What it failed to achieve in the absence of an active Yemeni role now appears impossible. Yemen has demonstrated the necessary competence to thwart the schemes plotted against the Ummah, prompting the Zionists today to intensify their conspiracy against this people, the remaining remnant of Islamic awakening, Islamic zeal, chivalry, and honor.
A stance that transcends futile calculations
During the Zionist aggression against Gaza, Yemen did not hesitate or delay to recalculate the costs of support and intervention, nor did it wait out of fear of American anger and the potential aggressive backlash that might result. It did not pause to measure its own capabilities against those of the Zionist enemy and its backers in the United States, Britain, and other perennial enemies of the Islamic nation.
Rather, Yemen anticipated a natural and supportive stance from other Arab and Islamic countries, or a serious and effective move by the Arab League—none of which occurred. While the enemy rained bombs of hatred upon the heads of Palestinians, silence prevailed as the defining response of those regimes.
Neither religion nor brotherhood moved those regimes, nor did the rivers of Palestinian blood and the scale of destruction provoke a reaction. Here, Yemen was the exception. When Sayyed Leader Abdul-Malik Badral-Houthi made the decision to engage in a support battle for the people of Gaza, he did so with confidence that the Ansar people still carried in their blood the zeal, honor, and chivalry toward religion and the human values instilled by Islam. The Yemeni people rallied behind the Sayyed Leader and the army, supporting the decision of assistance in exaltation of Allah’s religion, which rejects injustice against humanity, how much more so when the injustice is inflicted upon a Muslim people abandoned by their fellow Muslims.
Yemeni action exposes the Ummah’s humiliation
Indeed, the Yemeni move came at a level befitting zeal for Islam and its teachings, affirming that this is truly the people of faith and wisdom. It reflected the nobility of their morals and their steadfastness through the utilization of all available means to aid the Palestinian people in a practical stance observed by the entire world. For more than two years, the world has followed the operations of the Yemeni armed forces against the Zionist entity and those collaborating with it.
Drawing its courage from the strength of faith, Yemen’s action was open-ended. It went through five stages within the framework of the battle titled “The Promised Conquest and the Sacred Jihad,” characterized by painful escalation. This was not about scoring points or seeking admiration, but about obedience to God and victory for His religion by aiding the Palestinian people, who have borne on behalf of the Ummah the burden of confronting the Israeli enemy and rejecting its plan to entrench its entity on Arab and Islamic land.
Because the Palestinian people are Muslims besieged by nations of disbelief and hypocrisy, and because Yemenis are aware of the Zionist entity’s plans, Yemen’s move shattered the enemy’s delusions of being able to impose realities on the ground that diminish the presence of Islam and Muslims in favor of the Zionist project and its so-called “Greater Israel.”

The Yemeni supportive action exposed the level of humiliation that has befallen the Ummah, to the point where openly adopting a position of neutrality has become acceptable, without regard for how Islam itself is slipping from their reality through such stances and the cumulative manifestations of detachment from its teachings. With its modest capabilities, Yemen has become a compelling argument against those who possess vast wealth and arsenals of weapons—especially after proving that its preservation of Islamic practices in religious occasions was not for show or for medals of bravery, but because this stance aligns with what Islam calls for: confronting the leaders of disbelief and hypocrisy and standing with the oppressed.
Marches affirm the seriousness of the stance
While the armed forces were delivering impactful and effective operations, Yemenis were affirming the seriousness of their stance with the Palestinian people and their readiness to confront the Zionist enemy should the opportunity arise. For more than two years, the world has reported on the weekly million-strong marches, armed vigils, meetings, and declarations of mobilization and readiness aimed at ending the farce of the forces of evil.
Through these marches and activities, the world witnessed the exceptional nature of these people—who were still living under the repercussions of eight years of aggression, an ongoing siege, and unceasing conspiracies targeting them across all aspects of life—yet nevertheless succeeded in rising to the level of defending the oppressed in Gaza.
Yemen defied all attempts to dissuade it from its principled position and began issuing a forthright and painful discourse of steadfastness. This pushed the United States and its followers to abandon their crude justifications for aggression against Yemen and to declare openly that defending their protégé, “Israel,” is a matter of principle for them. Yemen did not retreat in the face of this American brazenness; rather, it confronted the leaders of killing and destruction in the United States and Europe by asserting that it is far more rightful to defend the Palestinian people, especially when imperial powers cross oceans to rescue a deranged occupier that practices the killing of Palestinians with cold indifference.

The decision in the estimation of the Sayyed Leader
They are people of faith and wisdom who reject humiliation regardless of the oppressor’s power. Their movement has restored Yemen’s authentic place as a bearer and defender of religion, going beyond mere condemnations to action, sacrificing blood and wealth for the sake of Allah. By appearing in this manner, Yemen has greatly provoked the forces of disbelief and darkness, becoming not only an enemy of the Zionist entity and an obstacle to its project, but also an enemy and obstacle to the Zionist plan aimed at erasing Islam’s features and subjugating Muslims to Zionist will.
Today, as Palestinian blood continues to be shed, and as the Israeli enemy—devoid of human feeling—rationes food supplies, restricts the entry of medicines and essential materials for clearing rubble and repairing sewage systems, and even prevents ambulances from reaching those targeted by artillery or sniper fire, Yemenis burn with the desire to deter the arrogant Zionist. Yet the matter rests in trustworthy hands: the Sayyed Leader is more discerning of circumstances, requirements, and the timing, place, and manner of action against this entity.
Until then, there appears to be no one within the Ummah willing even to pressure the guarantors of the ceasefire agreement, at the very least to halt this mockery of humanity, the hemorrhaging of values, and the violations of rights in Gaza. Instead, those who have fallen short mobilize to complete the plan of the so-called “Trump” to seize the Strip and place it under American guardianship.

What awaits Muslim lands
To complete the Gaza scene as detailed by the Zionist council, Arab and Islamic elites strive even harder to distance themselves from their religion and to accept this fate imposed upon Palestinians, under the naïve assumption that it will provide them with a stable life. Meanwhile, further cycles of degradation and confiscation of rights await Muslim lands. The map of so-called “Greater Israel” bares its tools from Zionist chambers, with malicious intentions spread across planning tables inside the White House to determine lines of movement and mobilize the necessary weaponry and ammunition.
Accordingly, the Syrian model has exposed this state of passivity. No movement, condemnation, or even a recorded objection has been witnessed regarding Syria’s new map—so far—according to the new Zionist design, in which the Golan Heights are absent from the map of the Syrian Arab Republic.
As the Zionist entity prepares to impose a new reality in southern Syria, the rulers of the Ummah prepare to craft justifications for their peoples when election time comes—perhaps receiving those justifications ready-made from the White House, or perhaps seeing no need for them at all so long as they remain in the good graces of the American administration.
