Acting Prime Minister al-Allamah Muftah affirmed full solidarity with the Palestinian people and all Arab and Islamic peoples in confronting the Zionist and American aggression.

In a speech delivered today on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, al-Allamah Muftah warned against accepting a formula of permissiveness and normalization with pain and crimes. He stressed that the continuation of killings and the violation of sanctities without deterrence constitutes a grave calamity and a major crime threatening the future of the nation, adding that what is happening in Palestine today will affect others tomorrow.

The following is the full text of the speech:

“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, who said in His Noble Book: ‘The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs of guidance and criterion,’ and who said: ‘Fasting has been prescribed upon you as it was prescribed upon those before you, that you may become righteous.’ May God’s prayers and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family, who said upon welcoming the noble month: ‘O people, there has come upon you a great and blessed month, a month in which there is a night better than a thousand months; a month in which God has made fasting obligatory and standing in prayer at night voluntary.’

O sons and daughters of our dear Yemeni people at home and abroad:

On my own behalf and on behalf of my colleagues in the leadership of the state and government, I extend my highest congratulations and blessings to the Leader of the Revolution, al-Sayyid Abdul-malik Badruddin al-Houthi, may Allah protect him; to His Excellency President Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council; to you, the sons and daughters of our noble Yemeni people; and to the entire Islamic nation, on the approaching advent of the holy month of Ramadan. We ask Allah Almighty to bestow upon us its blessings, to envelop us in His immense grace and benevolence, to grant us success in righteous deeds foremost among them the recitation of His Book and adherence to its guidance, to assist us in fasting and standing in prayer, and to make us among those who attain Laylat al-Qadr and its goodness and blessings.

Brothers and sisters in our beloved country and abroad:

Allah has honored you, O people of Yemen—land of faith, wisdom, and jihad—and for nearly a decade you have been, during the month of fasting, among those striving in His cause, steadfast in the fields of honor and dignity against the transgressing aggressors and behind them the devils of this age, America and ‘Israel.’ In the past two years, you have been in direct confrontation with these two Zionist and American enemies, setting an exemplary model in supporting the oppressed in Gaza and all of Palestine, and indeed all the people of our nation. This was the product of high awareness, firm faith, sincere reliance upon Allah Almighty, and adherence to His Noble Book and great guidance.

O sons and daughters of our dear Yemeni people:

The state leadership views with great appreciation your patience and steadfastness, while also paying close attention to the suffering of many of our people resulting from the prolonged criminal blockade, the heavy toll of brutal aggression, and the aggressors’ procrastination in implementing the requirements of the truce and de-escalation. We are working at all levels to provide whatever internal revenues can be secured, however scarce, and to extract our people’s rights from the jaws of the Saudi-American-Zionist aggression. We seek to redirect wealth and revenues to serve all citizens, provide essential services, and pay salaries that have been suspended since the seizure and transfer of the Central Bank from the capital Sana’a to the beloved yet unfortunately occupied Aden, and the piracy of revenues. We promise you, our dear people, that this suffering will come to an end soon. Through your patience and resilience, and through the readiness of the Armed Forces and their missile and drone units, we will, by Allah's will, secure our people’s rights and protect them, impose rightful sovereignty and independence, and defeat the aggressors and invaders. This is our commitment and our hope in Allah’s promise of victory over the aggressors.

Dear Yemeni people:

The month of Ramadan is the month of blessings, cooperation, solidarity, mercy, patience, benevolence, and altruism. Let us all enjoin these lofty values—piety, kindness to all people, dutifulness to parents, and beneficence toward them—making the most of their compassion and the blessings Allah grants through this noble month. Let each of us look to our neighbors and seek out the needs of the weak and destitute, so that Allah may record us among the successful and those deserving of His pardon and satisfaction.

Brothers and sisters:

In light of the conspiracies and malicious schemes targeting the states and peoples of our nation—its sovereignty, wealth, religion, values, and morals—we call upon all members of our Islamic nation, rulers and peoples, scholars and thinkers, to foster unity, solidarity, and adherence to the rope of Allah to confront these schemes. Let Ramadan, with the faith and compassion it inspires, be a station to remember our duties toward our people in Gaza and all of Palestine, and to consider the savage aggression they face, in which the West has aligned with the Zionists, while some regimes have failed them and others have conspired against them. Let us work together to lift injustice from them and from all the oppressed of our Arab and Islamic nation, from a sense of duty that is the fruit of piety—the ultimate purpose of fasting and prayer in this noble month.

We affirm that confronting the Zionist-American enemy and its instruments begins with recognizing the danger of projects such as the so-called “Greater Israel,” the “New Middle East,” and moral dissolution projects, foremost among them the major cultural offensive against our nation. We must renounce internal disputes and direct our anger and hostility toward the enemy that lies in wait for us all, and beware of the dangers of the soft satanic war that corrupts souls and distances them from righteousness, steadfastness, jihad, and confrontation of Allah's enemies.

The mobilization of American military forces from across the seas to our waters and shores does not serve our nation or any of its parties, regardless of the deception or persuasion attempted by the American enemy. Rather, it is directed against all of us and threatens our existence, security, stability, and the future of our peoples, aiming to dominate our resources, confiscate our decision-making, and violate our sovereignty.

Let the blessed month of Ramadan, O members of our nation, be a factor of unity, a cause for cohesion, and an opportunity for sincere return to Allah Almighty, adherence to His guidance, and optimal use of its blessed times. It is a great opportunity in which souls and hearts meet in the pure houses of Allah and in the fields of jihad across all fronts.

In conclusion, we affirm the following points:

First: We renew our congratulations and blessings to the Leader of our blessed revolution, to the President, to you the sons and daughters of our dear Yemeni people, and to our Arab and Islamic nation on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.

Second: We renew our call on the rulers in Riyadh—after their criminal coalition has disintegrated and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been left alone in confronting and aggressing against the Yemeni people—to implement the truce and de-escalation leading to an end to the aggression and lifting of the blockade, to execute the roadmap, complete the prisoner exchange deal, release the salaries and rights of the people, and assume full responsibility for the consequences and atrocities of its aggression and blockade for more than a decade, ensuring withdrawal of all foreign forces and allowing the Yemeni people to shape their future and resolve their problems free from theatrics and empty claims, and to leave the square of procrastination, as time is running out and patience has limits.

Third: We warn any internal or external parties against engaging in any adventure or aggression against our country, and we affirm that we are in full readiness and preparedness for confrontation and sacrifice for the sake of the homeland’s honor and dignity.

Fourth: We reaffirm our full solidarity with the Palestinian people and all Arab and Islamic peoples in confronting Zionist and American aggression, warning against accepting the formula of permissiveness and normalization with pain and crimes, and stressing that the continuation of killing and violation of sanctities without deterrence is a grave calamity and a major crime threatening the future of our nation. What is happening in Palestine today will affect others tomorrow.

In closing, we ask Allah to grant mercy and eternal rest to the righteous martyrs, freedom to the honorable prisoners, and healing to the wounded.

Long live the Republic of Yemen.

Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.”
