Zionist forces carried out extensive raids and incursions across various areas of the occupied West Bank during the early hours and morning of Tuesday, resulting in the arrest of dozens of Palestinians, including several prisoners recently released in the exchange deal with the Palestinian resistance.
During the campaign, dozens of homes were raided, searched, and ransacked, with residents subjected to field interrogations and abuse. Injuries were also reported as a result of attacks by Zionist settlers targeting Palestinians and their property.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club reported the re-arrest of five freed prisoners from the latest exchange deal in the city of Qalqilya in the northern West Bank: Samih Shubki, Saed Al-Fayed, Said Diab, Ibrahim Atiya, and Hadi Jadou, during raids on their homes.
Zionist forces also arrested the young man Youssef Luqman following a raid on the town of Deir al-Ghusun north of Tulkarm.
Additionally, Sheikh Khabab Marwan Al-Hamad was re-arrested from his home in Nablus months after his release, and the freed prisoner Hamida Marshoud was arrested following a raid on his home on al-Quds Street, during which his vehicle was confiscated.
The arrests also included the young man Nimer Al-Nadi from Al-Ain refugee camp west of Nablus, Firas Samara from the village of Kafr Qaleel east of the city, and Ali Hussein Salman Odeh in Tulkarm after a raid on his home in the southern neighborhood.
These raids were accompanied by sporadic settler attacks. Settlers threw stones at Palestinian vehicles near the Za’tara checkpoint south of Nablus, shattering the window of one car.
Clashes also erupted in the town of Beita after Zionist forces stormed the area, firing live bullets and tear gas, resulting in a child sustaining bruises from beatings.
In occupied al-Quds, Zionist forces, during a raid on Shuafat refugee camp, destroyed the memorial for the camp’s martyrs, an act targeting national symbols.
These developments come amid ongoing raids and arrests in the West Bank, which continue to escalate alongside settler attacks and operations involving the demolition and destruction of homes and facilities.
Since the start of the war on the Gaza Strip, attacks by the Zionist enemy's army and settlers in the West Bank, combined with arrest campaigns, have resulted in the deaths of 1,133 Palestinians and injuries to approximately 11,700 others.
