The America and the Zionist entity carried out attacks on energy facilities in the cities of Isfahan and Khorramshahr, causing material damage to the facilities and surrounding homes, with no human casualties reported, according to Iran’s Fars news agency.
In Isfahan, the attack struck the Gas Administration building and the pressure-reduction station on Kaveh Street, damaging parts of the facilities and nearby homes.
In Khorramshahr, the strike targeted a gas line connected to the power plant, with a projectile hitting an area outside the plant, causing no injuries, according to statements from the city’s governor reported by Fars.
Isfahan is a key hub in the gas distribution network, supplying both cities and the industrial sector, making any damage there impactful on production and services. Khorramshahr is part of the electricity production system linked to gas, meaning the attack affects the state’s operational capacity rather than a single facility.
Yesterday, a senior Iranian security and political source told Al-Mayadeen that Iran is fully prepared to deliver strong, comprehensive, and decisive retaliatory strikes in response to any attacks on its critical infrastructure.
The source added, “We are aware that the enemy continues its aerial aggression on our lands,” warning all parties that any action against Iran’s infrastructure, whether minor, symbolic, or demonstrative, will be met with a strong and multiplied response without hesitation.
Earlier, American President Trump claimed he seeks a deal with Iran, saying, “I think it is very difficult for them to leave their country , yet we will meet face to face at some point, very soon.” He set a five-day timeframe to observe developments, adding, “If things go well, we will reach a settlement on this issue; otherwise, we will continue striking them with all the force we have.”
Today’s aggression follows Trump’s earlier claim of postponing strikes on Iran’s energy infrastructure for five days.
Iran has reaffirmed its intent to respond to such attacks with punitive measures, designating infrastructure linked to Washington and the Zionist entity as legitimate targets.
