Israeli settlers set fire to a home and a vehicle late at night in the town of Turmus Ayya, located northeast of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
According to local sources, dozens of settlers attacked the town from its eastern side. During the assault, they burned the home of resident Asaad Tafaha and a vehicle belonging to Rateb Al-Khatib. Residents of the town confronted the attackers and ultimately forced them to flee. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission reported that Israeli forces and settlers carried out a total of 1,819 attacks during the month of March. This figure reflects the continued pattern of systematic violence practiced by Zionist authorities against the Palestinian people, their land, and their property.
The commission detailed that Zionist forces were responsible for 1,322 of these attacks, while settlers carried out 497. It further noted that the attacks were concentrated Primarily in the following governorates: al-Khalil recorded 321 incidents, Nablus 315, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 292, and al-Quds 203. These figures indicate a clear pattern of intensified and systematic targeting of these areas.
