Major General Mohsen Rezaei, a member of Iran’s Expediency Discernment Council and military adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, said on Friday that contradictory statements made by Donald Trump show that real decisions in the United States are made elsewhere.
In a post on the X platform, Rezaei added that what influence networks operating behind the scenes want does not align with the slogan “America First.”
He said this represents the kind of dilemma facing the United States, with the American people ultimately paying the price.
Rezaei’s remarks came in response to the large number of Trump's statements and his shifting positions, particularly regarding the situation in the Strait of Hormuz and the war against Iran.
