Residents of districts within the Capital Secretariat held mass rallies after Friday prayers, expressing support for recent security achievements and solidarity with Gaza and the Palestinian people, under the slogan: “Indeed, the scheming of those is bound to perish.”
Participants praised the Ministry of Interior’s statement announcing the arrest of alleged spy cells accused of collaborating with American and Israeli intelligence services.
They reiterated support for what they described as the people’s ongoing struggle in solidarity with Gaza and Palestine, while condemning alleged acts of treason involving the transfer of sensitive information to enemy forces.
The crowds chanted slogans denouncing enemies, collaborators, and ongoing Israeli aggression and blockade against Gaza. They reaffirmed Yemen’s continued political stance in support of Gaza, Lebanon, and the Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasizing commitment to the “unity of arenas” and readiness to confront what they described as joint Israeli-American plans.
A statement from the rallies reported continued monitoring of developments in Gaza, citing figures of casualties since the ceasefire and reiterating what it described as a broader “war of extermination” since the beginning of the conflict.
It also condemned ongoing Israeli actions in Lebanon and alleged American threats against Iran, alongside criticism of Arab and Islamic governments for inaction or complicity.
The statement welcomed the work of security services in detaining alleged intelligence-linked cells, urged vigilance and reporting of suspicious activity, and reaffirmed solidarity with Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and Iran.
It also criticized statements attributed to political opponents, describing them as a deviation from religious and ideological principles, and called for confronting what it termed “soft warfare” and moral corruption, alongside strengthening public awareness against recruitment efforts.
Finally, it encouraged participation in summer educational programs, military training courses, and financial support for military capabilities through designated channels.
