The spokesperson for Iran’s central Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters has warned the United Arab Emirates against turning into a military base for the United States and the Zionist entity, while denying any recent Iranian military actions targeting the UAE.
In a statement issued Tuesday, Brigadier General Ebrahim Zolfaqari, spokesperson for the central Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, said that the Iranian Armed Forces had not carried out any missile or drone operations against the UAE in recent days. He stressed that if such actions had occurred, they would have been openly and firmly announced. We absolutely deny the report issued by this country’s Ministry of Defense, and we affirm that it is entirely false and without any basis in fact.
Addressing Emirati officials and decision-makers, he stated that the UAE, as an Islamic country, should not become a base for American and Zionist forces or a launch point for their military operations, warning that such a role would constitute a betrayal of the Islamic world and Muslim nations.
He further cautioned the UAE against falling into the traps and schemes set by the Americans and the Zionists. Instead of opposing hostile forces and ending all forms of cooperation with them, you are launching a treacherous media attack, leveling false accusations and stirring up trouble against the Muslim Iranian people.
Zolfaqari expressed regret that the UAE has become one of the primary bases for the American and Zionist forces—key drivers of instability in the region—hosting a significant portion of their troops and military equipment.
He added that escalating rhetoric, making accusations, and portraying itself as a victim would not resolve any issues or succeed in misleading international public opinion.
The spokesperson stated that Iran’s restraint thus far in the face of the UAE’s incitement and support for Iran’s adversaries stems from a commitment to regional security and consideration for Muslims living in the UAE.
He concluded with a warning that any military action launched from Emirati territory against Iranian islands, ports, or coastlines would be met with a “powerful and regret-inducing response.”
