Mohammad Mokhber, advisor and aide of the Leader of the Revolution and the Republic of Iran, confirmed that the escalation in the Strait of Hormuz and the “domino effect” of defeats against Iran have resulted in a retreat of American dominance.
In a post published Tuesday on the platform X, Mokhber said that the Eastern axis has returned to its historical identity and now possesses a strategic vision to reshape the region’s geopolitical landscape.
Commenting on the upcoming visit of the Americanf President Donald Trump to Beijing on the 14th and 15th of this month, Mokhber asserted that Trump would travel to the Chinese capital “as a loser.”
He added that, in light of these developments, Trump should abandon the “victorious posture” and instead view the decline of Western civilization from an Eastern perspective.
Mokhber’s remarks come amid heightened tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, following Trump’s announcement on Monday morning of the launch of an operation dubbed “Freedom Project,” aimed at “freeing stranded vessels” in the waterway.
Iran, however, denies that any ships or oil tankers have transited the Strait of Hormuz in recent developments. Other vessels have reportedly avoided the passage in response to Iranian navigation regulations.
Since the onset of the American-Israeli war against it, Iranian officials have emphasized that control of the Strait of Hormuz is now governed by new rules and regulations. They maintain that the strait remains open to maritime traffic, except for vessels that support the aggression against it.
