The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas condemned the continued Zionist enemy bombardment across the Gaza Strip, describing it as a systematic criminal escalation and a bloody declaration of ongoing violence against the Palestinian people.

In a press statement issued Tuesday, Hamas said that the intense strikes carried out by the Zionist enemy forces across various areas of Gaza reflect a deliberate policy of escalation and sustained aggression.

The movement explained in a press statement on Tuesday that the horrific bombing that targeted a police station northwest of Gaza City this afternoon, resulting in the death of a child and injuries to several Palestinian police officers. Such attacks are part of efforts to spread chaos and insecurity, and to obstruct any recovery process that contradicts its goals of displacing Palestinians.

Hamas further asserted that mediators and the United Nations bear direct responsibility to pressure the government of Benjamin Netanyahu to halt the offensive and prevent it from evading its obligations under a ceasefire agreement. The movement pointed out that the enemy did not abide by the agreement and continues the bombing, siege and starvation.

The statement concluded with a call for guarantor mediators to take urgent action to stop the Zionist crimes, while urging free peoples worldwide to intensify pressure on the Israeli entity and its supporters to end the ongoing violence in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
