NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte acknowledged that European and American military-industrial complexes are not producing enough weapons to meet the needs of Brussels and Washington.

During a press conference today, Rutte said, "We need to develop. This also means developing our military-industrial base, which is undoubtedly excellent, but it is not producing enough, either in the United States or in Europe."

He described the shortage of weapons production as a "common problem" between the United States and Europe, noting that this issue will be discussed at the NATO summit scheduled to be held in Ankara next July.

Earlier, American reports indicated that Russia surpasses all NATO countries and the United States in weapons production, pointing out that ammunition production in America and NATO countries is lagging significantly, while its production process is accelerating in Russia.

According to reports, Russia surpasses all NATO countries and the United States in the production of ammunition, missiles and tanks, "despite the large budget allocated by Washington to the Department of Defense."
