Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has responded to recent threats by U.S. President, Criminal Donald Trump to target Iran's peaceful nuclear facilities and civilian infrastructure, stating that Iran's armed forces would respond forcefully to any attack in accordance with the principle of "an eye for an eye."

In a post on his account on the social media platform X, Araghchi wrote: "Our defense doctrine is clear: 'An eye for an eye.' Any aggression against Iran, including attacks on our infrastructure, will be met with a firm, powerful, and decisive response."

The Iranian foreign minister further warned: "Any party that participates in such aggression in any form, or supports it, will be considered a legitimate target."

On Wednesday, Trump threatened in a message posted on his Truth Social platform that the United States would bomb and destroy a bridge or power station in or near Tehran whenever Iran launched a missile, projectile, drone, or any other weapon at a vessel violating restrictions in the Strait of Hormuz.
