Sayyed Abdulmalek Badr al-Din al-Houthi, leader of the Ansarullah movement, delivered a speech on Wednesday marking the third anniversary of the blessed Al-Aqsa Flood operation, addressing its outcomes, assessing the state of the Muslim nation, and underscoring its profound responsibility toward the Palestinian cause and its stance toward the Israeli enemy.

He said that, in assessing the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, it stands as the greatest epic in the Palestinian people’s struggle since the beginning of the occupation. He stressed that the operation was the largest jihadist operation undertaken by the Palestinian people, describing it as a successful operation that shook the Israeli entity on an unprecedented scale.

He noted that the United States, Britain and a number of Western countries moved to rescue the Israeli enemy in the aftermath of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation. He explained that the turmoil that gripped the Israeli enemy prompted the West to recognize the extent of the operation’s impact on its adversary.

He said the Al-Aqsa Flood operation created an opportunity for the Muslim nation and opened new horizons on the ground, demonstrating that the Palestinian people were capable of fulfilling their Islamic and humanitarian mission.

He said the operation also provided an opportunity for the Muslim nation to stand in support of the Palestinian people, in fulfillment of its humanitarian and moral duty and in consideration of the nation’s national security.

He stressed that the Muslim nation should have taken the initiative to mobilize every form of support for the Palestinian people. Instead, he said, it was the West and Zionist proxies that took the initiative to devote their full efforts to supporting the occupying aggressor.

The United States, he added, went so far as to become a full-fledged partner in supporting the Israeli enemy, providing extensive cover, opening its regional stockpiles, and delivering comprehensive support to the enemy.

Sayyed al-Houthi said: “The Americans and the West were in a state of general mobilization and immediately provided all forms of support to the Israeli enemy. They worked to contain the shock that had shaken the enemy’s domestic front.

“At the same time, the only forces that stood alongside the Palestinian people were the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, the Islamic Republic , the Iraqi factions, and the Yemeni support front.

“The prevailing situation across the Muslim nation was one of abandonment, while some engaged in complicity. Support remained limited to the axis of jihad and resistance. It is regrettable that Muslims, and Arabs in particular, squandered a genuine opportunity to support the Palestinian people, because the Al-Aqsa Flood operation represented a turning point for the entire nation in its confrontation with the enemy.”

Israeli Criminality and the Palestinian People’s Steadfastness

He explained that, on the Palestinian side, the steadfastness and resilience demonstrated by the Palestinian people and the resistance factions that stood united were among the most striking features of that epic.

The Palestinian people’s steadfastness in confronting the Israeli enemy stunned the world, particularly given the enemy’s access to the most lethal weapons and every form of support.

He noted that the enemy responded to the Palestinian people with a campaign of genocide, using the deadliest weapons and dropping them on residential neighborhoods across the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli enemy targeted every aspect of life in Gaza, going as far as depriving the Palestinian population of water. It also destroyed entire neighborhoods with U.S.-supplied bombs and went so far as to kill children and women on a massive scale, from sniper fire to airstrikes.

Sayyed al-Houthi said the starvation campaign waged by the Israeli enemy against the people of the Gaza Strip represented a disgraceful failure on the part of the international community, and above all, of Muslims.

He pointed out that the Israeli enemy prevented milk from reaching infants in Gaza and, together with the United States, committed some of the most heinous crimes in the Strip.

Some of these crimes were broadcast live, while the Israeli enemy openly proclaimed the extent of its aggression and its determination to carry out genocide and perpetrate such horrific crimes. He stressed that the brutality of the Israeli enemy had shocked the world.

He noted that some non-Muslim countries had spoken out against Israeli criminality, amid the absence of a comparable Arab and Muslim voice.

He stressed that the crimes committed by the Israeli enemy exposed the hollowness of the Zionist slogans long invoked in the name of human rights and other principles. The killing and targeting of children, along with military raids on hospitals, he said, exposed the Israeli enemy even before the International Criminal Court.

Regarding the U.S. role in protecting the Israeli enemy, Sayyed al-Houthi said that the United States had recently moved to crack down on activities supporting or expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people and opposing the Israeli enemy.

He stressed that the extent to which the Western system had been exposed was particularly significant for many intellectuals and young people, allowing them to develop a more realistic view of the West.

He affirmed that Western countries had provided the Israeli enemy with every means necessary to carry out its campaign of genocide in Gaza.
