Speech by Al-Sayyid Abdul ‎Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi on ‎the Occasion of ‎ the National Day of Steadfastness 1442 A.H.
 

Speech by Al-Sayyid ‎Abdul ‎Malik Badruddin Al-‎Houthi on ‎the Occasion of ‎ ‎the National Day of ‎Steadfastness 1442 A.H. 
I seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan, the outcast.
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
Praise is to Allah, the Lord of Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, He is the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth; and that Mohammed, our master, is His  servant, messenger, and last prophet.  
O Allah, confer Your Sallat and blessings upon Mohammed and the Family of Mohammed as You conferred Your Sallat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Mohammed's good companions and all Your righteous servants.   
Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you, as well as the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
The National Day of Steadfastness 
Today marks six years since the beginning of the aggression, and tomorrow is the National Day of Steadfastness. Steadfastness—which is a great and attractive title that is of great value at the humanitarian  and moral levels—has been, through the grace of Allah, put into use and embodied on a daily basis by our Yemeni people since the beginning of this aggression and until today. However, announcing an annual particular day (a day that has been observed consecutively from the first year of aggression, second year, third year, fourth year, fifth year, and  sixth year)  has to do with achieving a number of important objectives and bringing important and fundamental issues to attention. Therefore, it is an occasion worthy of great attention and can serve as an annual stop of great benefit to us.  
The first thing that should have our focus in this occasion is turning to Allah in gratitude while bearing in mind that without His grace, support, and guidance our people wouldn’t have been able to maintain their steadfastness during the past six years in the face of this powerful and well equipped aggression with all its great capabilities and horrific crimes. Then, during the speech, we will emphasize (Allah willing) the legitimacy and correctness of the decision of our Yemeni people to stand up to this aggression.   
We will also focus on bringing the crimes of the coalition of aggression back to memory and highlighting the injustice being done to our people. Our attention, accompanied by both our testimony and appreciation, should be payed to the great steadfastness of our Yemeni people embodied as a true character by their sacrifice, generosity, heroic stances, great patience, and great achievements. 
In addition, we will recall the real identity of this aggression, its practices, and goals; we will refute all attempts that aim at justifying it or promoting falsehood in this regard. This occasion can serve as an annual stop that is key to boosting our morale and helping us evaluate our performance at the practical level.   
The identity of the aggression
Talking on the identity of this aggression and introducing its right I.D. card will be come first on the aspects-focused-on list of this speech: How did the aggression start? Who is the mastermind, planner, decision-maker, and beneficiary? And who is the executer? We all know that this aggression started six years ago in the middle of night and in a sudden and unexpected way. Therefore, taking by surprise  is how this aggression started, and criminality has been their hallmark since the first airstrike. 
Indeed, taking by surprise has been the feature of this aggression since its beginning and first airstrikes, which, as well as the aggression as a whole,  have been carried out in this sudden way by some parties that our Yemeni people have never hurt, attacked, targeted, or harmed—one can see no justification for their aggression: 
Both Yemen and  the Saudi regime (the bad neighbour) were in a state of peace under previous agreements, and that was the case since reaching the Taif Agreement, which was followed by some other agreements; Yemen hadn’t  done anything to the UAE and its regime that might justify its participation in this aggression; and there is no justification for those who have backed this aggression and for what they have done to this nation—neither the American regime nor others have the right to do so. Therefore, the case at hand is nothing but a unexpected and sudden aggression  in every sense of the word, for there had been no misunderstandings, problems, or incidents that could set the stage for a war, battle, or even clash. 
And this was the case with many, the most, or maybe all of the countries of our Arab and Muslim Ummah. All were surprised and shocked because there was, as we already said, no reason for starting this aggression. This taking- by-surprise manner can serve as clear evidence on the fact that this is an aggression in every sense of the word and that no justification can be made for such an aggression. 
Second on the list is criminality, the true nature of this aggression since the first day and until today. The victims of the first airstrike carried out by the aggression were civilians. Indeed, it targeted civilian populated neighbourhoods in Sana’a Governorate—the beginning of the aggression was accompanied by committing a horrific crime—and hit civilians while sleeping in their homes. But for the announcement of the aggression and those behind it that night, it might have been impossible to find an answer to the question: Who is behind this aggression?  And this, in itself, proves that our people are innocent: They are the oppressed not the oppressor, the attacked not the aggressor.
If no  party had announced the aggression and claimed responsibility for it after that night airstrikes, people in Yemen and abroad would be asking questions: Who might have carried out those airstrikes?  And that is because there was no problem that could lead to war or an offensive against our country. Even many politicians  and media professionals didn’t expect anything like that to happen, which draws a clear line of who is the offender and the oppressor and who is the offended and  the oppressed. 
When the announcement was made, it came from Washington. The announcer was a Saudi person, Adel Al-Jubair, who on behalf of the Saudi regime announced from Washington (even before Riyadh had made any announcement) the start of this aggression. Indeed, this is how the announcement was made: a Saudi announcer from Washington. This reveals the identity of this aggression and the one that stands behind it. Such a thing is weird; maybe, the divine hand was at work to expose those carrying out the aggression, those standing behind it, and those planning! 
The Saudis are the ones who claimed responsibility for this aggression and to be the ones leading this coalition. However, that it was declared from Washington reveals that the Saudi regime is carrying out this aggression under American supervision. Indeed, that the announcement was made in Washington and not in any other place (not Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, or any other capital) is a clear indication that the U.S.A.is the one who is responsible for this aggression and in total charge and who really stands behind it, but the U.S.A is not alone as there are Israel and the U.K.—the American regime is their master who teaches them deception, Al-Kufr, and evil and leads the high-handed manner and oppression against our Muslim Ummah as a whole. 
It is known to us before this aggression that the targeting of Yemen was being called for by the Israeli enemy, which went publicly to talk very aggressively about Yemen. Some officials of the Israeli enemy, notably Benjamin Netanyahu, were speaking very aggressively and in an inciting way against the Yemeni people and their victorious, successful, and popular revolution, a revolution that brought freedom and independence back to the Yemeni people and highly disturbed the Israeli enemy by its developments in the interest of the Yemeni people—indeed the Israeli enemy was speaking very aggressively against it. Israel, when upset about something, restores to plots, deception, fraud, and hostile measures: It doesn’t stick to expressing its concern and annoyance then stays in its place.

The true ID card for the aggression 
Therefore, it is certain that Israel, the U.K., and America jointly play a role in leading and planning for this aggression and in drawing this plot. However, in their quest (the three of them) to absolve themselves from the bad consequences and the financial burdens of this aggression, they chose another entity to carry out the mission, to shoulder all the financial burdens, and to guarantee nothing comes upon them while laying profits for them so that they would become the winning party that only makes profits and never gives anything for free. To achieve their ends, they decided that such a country must have all the necessary capabilities on the material level and obtain factors and circumstances that contribute to the success of this great crime against a great people, the Muslim Yemeni people.   
They chose the Saudi to be the one who claims responsibility for this aggression, who carries out the mission, and gets all the costs covered, along with the Emirati. The Saudi agreed to play this role; they know how to make the Saudi accept that—we will discuss this point in greater detail later.    
This is the true ID card for this aggression: The mastermind and planner of this aggression is America, Israel, and the UK, the first of them, America,  is the one plying a supervisory role while the others (Israel and the UK) paying a complementary role in the aggression in some forms and ways that we will shed light on in our talk. 
In addition, the Saudi, along with the UAE, is the one who is spearheading the aggression while others are paid ( including regimes, armies, and groups like ISIS, Al-Qaeda.  And those traitors from the people of this country are also hired  and had received money in exchange for their participation. 
Since the beginning and until today, the aggression has moved according to this form of pattern and based on these roles: America plays the role of the supervisor who provides the cover needed for this aggression at the international level, the UN level, and many other levels; Israel keeps its participation and contribution in one way or another; the UK keeps playing an active, negative, and criminal role in the aggression; the Saudi and the Emirati spearhead the aggression; and others (mercenaries, paid people) have their own roles according to this pattern. 
How did the Saudi regime get involved and come to accept such a role, a very dangerous role that caused it to suffer huge financial burdens and very bad consequences that have now become very clear? There are a number of factors that have led the Saudi and the Emirati to accept this role, although there was no need for them to get themselves involved in such a big trouble and  heinous crime against an Arab and Muslim nation that has committed nothing to deserve this aggression. 
The main factors that led the Saudi to accept its role
One of the main factors that has led them to accept playing this role and committing this crime is their subservience to America and their habit of holding themselves hostage to its decisions, policies, and instructions. And this may be their case in dealing with all different cases in our region and our Muslim nations; they stick to this approach, and they look at their regional role based on this.   
The second factor is their great dependence on and blind confidence in the information, assessments, and analyses provided by the Americans, including some institutes with strong relationship with the Israeli enemy. For example, they depend on the intelligence they have from foreign intelgience agencies, notably the CIA ; however, such intelligence include misperceptions about who is the real enemy, the essence of the real threat to them, and what kind of emerging developments representing a threat ( even if they are not). Therefore, they make the Saudi and Emirati regimes believe that the threat comes from this party here and that one there seeking to target them, and, therefore, such parties should be dealt with and destroyed. In doing so, they make both regimes step away from facts and from reality and accept lies, illusions, and deception that push them more and more into believing these misperceptions and taking wrong and unnecessary actions that have no justification, bring them nothing (no benefit, security, or stability), and in no way help them achieve their interests. So, their positions, policies, and views regarding the challenges and potential risks are based on the findings these entities provide for them, and they are proud of such findings: ‘This study is carried out by a something center for studies’—it could be an American center run by some Zionists, although they return to it for consultants and depend on its findings, recommendations, reports, conclusions, and analyses that cause them to go astray and play into the hands of the enemy that wants them no good and instead seeks to exploit them.   
Another factor that has derived the Saudi and Emirati regimes to get themselves into this big and terrible dilemma is their ambitions: Both of them have big ambitions to play a broad regional role, to become America’s representatives in the region (even its ultimate representatives among the nations and countries of our Arab and Muslim Ummah) and serve as the policeman it relies on to carry out its plots and schemes. Therefore, both of them have no real or good project of their very own, and they only play roles that are defined by America, Israel, and the west. Both of them have no faith in the freedom and independence of our Ummah or in its ability to become a free, independent, and powerful Ummah, and this has led to very negative consequences that gave ground to these unrealistic ambitions of playing regional roles that serve the American interests. In addition, the Saudi and Emirati regimes thought this would be an effortless and successful mission due to the poor circumstances our Yemeni people were suffering at the beginning of this aggression at political, economic, and internal levels, not to mention the huge capabilities these regimes were in possess and the western support and American supervision they enjoyed—all these factors made them think that they would achieve a great achievement that would strengthen their influence and regional ‎ roles and enable them to make great profits out of this war and aggression. They thought they would be able to get a great and quick achievement of hugely positive impacts that could cover all the costs, but, in the end, all these imaginations have been proven wrong. Even so, they, even after all of that, haven’t learned the lesson yet. 
Of course, the aggression continues to be performed in this way. In other words, this is its real and well-known ID card: America plays a supervising role; Israel and the UK have an assistance role;  and the Saudi and Emirati regimes carry out this aggression and hire other regimes, armies, and groups like ISIS and Al-Qaida, as well as those from our country who have involved themselves in this treason. This is true, and people around the world see it this way: At the political level, in the West, especially in America, politicians, media professionals, and study and research centres—the view adopted by the west and the east—consider this war as a Saudi war against Yemen. At the practical level, it is the Saudi who, from its executive leadership role, leads these operations—the operation units in many fronts and even within the occupied provinces are head by their so-called joint ground forces commander—and plays specific roles at the political level. In addition, they take those willing to participate with them and to commit treason against their own country   to meet Saudi officials and officers in Saudi Arabia, where the Saudi negotiates agreements and deals and offers inducements!    
Furthermore, at the information level, the spokesperson for the coalition of aggression is a Saudi person—it is Al-Maliki who now serves in this position, a position that sees new appointments  from time to time.  This holds true for all other fields.  It is clear who pays the money, who plays the executive role in this aggression, who does the work on the ground, and who provides finance for weapons, military machines that carry out this aggression, and ground operations. And even the flags in the ground operations—when they reached Marib and reached the Marib Dam, three flags were raised: the Saudi flag, the Emirati flag, the Bahraini flag; it is the Yemeni flag  that was absent! When they moved towards the west coast, the Emirati flag was more present than any other flags, so this matter can’t be clearer.

Cases when a false ID card is presented 
Clear as it is, there are times when attempts are made to introduce the false ID card for this aggression, an ID card that seeks to create a different picture with different contents. The language used in these outlets shows this war as a Yemeni war caused by internal problems and as an internal conflict between some Yemeni parties, and, therefore, it is these parties who are being called to stop this fighting that resulted into great tragedies and caused great suffering to the Yemeni people. So, blame is placed on these parties—why don’t they pay attention to the situation of their people—who also are advised to stop and exercise restraint! 
Of course, this happens in certain cases. It happens when there is a moral quandary. For example, when the crime record gets to the ugliest levels and its news reaches every part of this world, then the UN decides to move and call upon the Yemeni people to bring their internal conflict to an end—this what happens when crimes reach a heinous level! But who has committed these crimes? It is the coalition of aggression through the use of  its weapons, capacities, and direct operations. Even so, it is the Yemenis who get the blame and who are called and encouraged to end this fighting. 
Also, when the blockade intensifies and suffering increases to the degree that people in other countries start paying attention to it and watch its tragic scenes, statements from the UN and sometimes from America, European countries, or even the Saudi itself are made to advise and blame the Yemenis: ‘Why are you doing this to yourselves? How did your problems get you into this big tragedy? Stop this!’ This is full of deception and ignores the real facts and events that are very clear. 
When facing dilemmas at the political or military levels—when the coalition of aggression finds itself military caught in a dilemma due to the failure of its main operations and struggles with its military performance it falls again into the habit of offering advice to the Yemeni people and declares its readiness to help bring a reconciliation process between the Yemenis and resolve their endless problems that continue to cause great distress for neighbouring countries and others around the world! 
When seeking to advance their surrender-imposing agendas—the lengthy period of the war is sometimes driving the enemies into hopping  that the political effort may achieve what the military effort failed to achieve or that the pressures of this war (its impacts, difficulties, and pains) may have overburdened the people of this country and made it possible for them to accept agendas that serve the interests of the foreign aggressor and enable it to impose its control over this country under political cover. However, such political cover requires a Yemeni party, so the aggressor brings forth those mercenaries and traitors from the people of our country, waves the banner of the so-called ‘legitimacy’, and then calls for holding dialogues, discussions, meetings, and sessions. 
In these three cases (when facing a humanitarian and moral quandary, when facing a dilemma at the political and military levels, and when seeking to reap the fruit of this aggression and impose political agendas), an unreal card is presented to give the wrong description of this problem, this aggression, and these events. 
Even though the truth has become clear, we see no problem in shedding light on what can show the falsity of that ID card.

First, let’s take a look at the declaration of this aggression: Who did declare this aggression? Was he Abdurabuh? Was he Ali Muhassin? Was it an authority body in Yemen? Was it a specific party that declared this war? It was Saudi Arabia that declared this war, wasn’t it? And from where? Was it from Sana’a? Was it from Marib or any other Yemeni governorate—or from Washington? In addition, after this aggression was declared and launched and after many crimes were committed, Abdurabuh (the gloves that you use in this aggression to commit crimes) declared in an interview aired by a channel of yours that he was surprised and didn’t know about what had happened, didn’t’ he? This means he didn’t demand or call for this! Being not the one who declared this aggression means that it is an external party that declared and started this and committed crimes before claiming that, ‘No, it is all about this party, which is responsible for this war’. This external party later came to a traitor and mercenary and made him claim responsibility for this crime, but the timing was too late and has showed its lack of success in making the appropriate ‎ arrangements for this aggression that could have provided more cover. So, they started everything themselves and then said, ‘No, it is this party’. He is almost absent all the time except in some few cases of their choosing.  
What about the management side? Who is directing this aggression? We all know that the Saudi is the one directing this aggression at the implementation level, while others from this country who are involved in this act of  treason are under its command and are no position of authority to make any decisions—they are nothing but paid persons, mercenaries, traitors, proxies, subordinators, slaves, humiliation-accepting people, and submissive people who in their position of treason, humiliation, and submissiveness  carry out  the orders and commands given to them and may sometimes face insults, slaps, arrests, detentions, etc.
Airstrikes—are airstrikes from the very first raid and until today ( thousands of airstrikes have been carried out, more than one quarter of a million) carried out by Yemeni warplanes and Yemeni pilots? They are carried out by foreign pilots and foreign warplanes that come from lands, sites, and airports under the direct control of the coalition of aggression, aren’t they? 
Operations—all main operations are planned and supervised by foreign actors, not local ones.   
Confessions—the mercenaries often come clean about the fact that what is happening is an occupation and that they are in no position to take decisions or have control—all they do is to obey orders. Indeed, such confessions  have been made by many persons with different put-on titles ( ministers, military commanders, etc.).  
The situation experienced in those occupied areas and governorates bears witness that what is going on is an aggression and occupation and that those involved in this from the people of this country have committed an act of treason and are in a state submission and subordination to the foreign aggressor ( the Saudi and the Emirati, the executors; America, the supervisor; and Israel and the U.K. who have their own particular roles). This has become known and seen on the ground.   
In the occupied governorates, the one in control over those mercenaries and traitors no matter what their put-on titles might be (president, prime minister, minster, governorate, military leader, etc.) is a Saudi officer—even if this officer was of the lowest rank, they all will be in submission before him.  
Marib can serve as an example: Who is in control over everyone there, including those with put-on titles ,such as the governor, military leader, defence minister? It is a well-known fact that it is a Saudi officer. The same is true when it comes to Aden and all other occupied governorates: The one directing and having authority over everyone there is a Saudi officer or official. Even at the political level,  the Saudi ambassador has authority over Abdurabuh‎. Indeed, the Saudi ambassador or even any Saudi officer has authority over Abdurabuh‎, who sometimes receives commands and decisions through intelligence officers to implement them! 
The foreign actors (the Saudi and the Emirati) are also in direct control over the vital and sovereign facilities in the occupied governorates: Seaports, airports, military bases, and important and vital centres. Many oil facilities are under their direct control and open eyes, and they divert revenues from many of these facilities to Saudi or Emirati banks where they keep them in hold until a Saudi order is passed except for small amounts of these revenues the traitors steal. 
Therefore, it is very clear that the aggression is a foreign one: The U.S., U.K., and Israel are the mastermind; the Saudi and the Emirati are the executors under the supervision of America.  As for others such as ISIS, Al-Qaida, Abdurabuh‎ and his people, those who name themselves the Islah Party (the ones who seek corruption on earth), and all those who go in line with them are paid people and involved in an act of treason. 
The practices of this aggression ‎
The practices of this aggression since the beginning until today also give a clear picture of the real identity of this aggression and its goals: It has no legitimate goals or any goal in favour of this nation and represents a horrible crime against this nation, and all of its practices since the beginning and until today are of criminal, barbaric, and destructive nature that have brought shame upon humanity. 
These practices notably include committing murder crimes, genocide, mass destruction, and intensive blockade and targeting all people in this country (the youth as well as the elderly, women as well as men, pregnant women as well as babies).
We will speak now in details on some of the forms this targeting takes, such forms that started at the very first moment of this aggression, in the middle of that night during which the military operations and airstrikes begun against our country. 
The targeting of civilian populated areas, houses and villages has continued to be intensive since the beginning of the aggression and until today. Indeed, the first airstrike targeted residential neighbourhoods and people in their homes. Wherever the Yemeni might be within his country (whether in his home or outside), s/he is under attack! Airstrikes have brutally destroyed many houses and kept targeting many houses in towns, residential neighbourhoods, and villages. And many videos containing very painful graphics were shared, showing the falling victims including women and children. Is there anything that can justify or legitimize this? Airstrikes hit at the heart of Sana’a as well as other cities, villages, suburb areas, and even nomadic areas where tent-inhabitants were killed along with their livestock! Can this be legitimized or justified? What is the positive or lofty goal that can be achieved by committing such crimes documented in many scenes and broadcasted on TV)?  
The targeting of mosques (despite their sanctity), worshipers, and the copies of the Quran inside them—more than 1400 mosques have been targeted and destroyed by the enemies, who also killed those worshipers inside these mosques and tore the Holy Quran (the Book of Allah) apart with their bombs. This shows their disrespect for the sanctities, for the lives of people as human beings, and  for  the prohibition of these practices. Is there anything that can legitimize this, or justify it?! And is there any lofty, sacred, or honourable goal behind such crimes?
The targeting included ancient mosques, some of which date back to the early years of Islam, some to the Tabi'un era, and some to other later eras. They put a considerable amount of effort in targeting such mosques since they are located at the heart of some Yemeni areas where there are no clashes or military frontlines—they deliberately target these mosques and the worshipers inside them. 
The targeting of schools, universities, and educational facilities, as well as  teachers and students—this kind of targeting is directed against the human in the first place, against this category in this society, and aims at disturbing the educational process and destroying its infrastructure so that the educational process can no longer continue to exist in this country—when they destroy schools and carry out their targeting  while students inside (which leads to the killing of many students and teachers)  and when they target other related facilities, such as educational facilities, ministries, and universities. (Indeed, many are the universities that have been targeted, and recent statistics brought this into attention during the various events held by the concerned authorities in Sana’a.)
We can clearly see this targeting directed against students, and there are tragic scenes that shed light on the targeting of students and schools and its consequence. These scenes were broadcasted by media outlets, along with written reports that were shared with various  parties all around the world, including the UN and other organizations. 
Can this targeting carried out against students, schools, and universities ( against students while going to or being at school) and against educational facilities represent a legitimate goal? Isn’t all about disturbing the educational process in this country and about depriving people of their right to learn? What  great suffering this act has caused! How great the damage inflicted on the educational process is!  How great the number of those students forced to flee or didn’t have access to learning due to such acts is! Who are the ones responsible for launching war against education in this country? Aren’t these people responsible for this—the ones who commit these crimes?
Today, in many areas, especially rural areas, students sit under trees to receive learning, with no school or shelter available. Others with better opportunities might receive learning in tents or in very modest places, but even this comes with a great fear of being targeted. This is the case in Yemen’s cities and rural areas. And on top of this, Yemen’s infrastructure suffers a big problem, and the economic circumstances have greatly affected the educational process. So, pressures are building up against the educational process in this country. 
Well, what do those who are acting in this way and who go so far in targeting us as to target our educational process and education-related activities, what do they want for our people and country? Can they intend any good for this country? There are many stories and great tragedies that took place, most notably the targeting of the bus that was carrying students in Dhahian—it was a great and well-known tragedy that attracted media coverage. There is a lot of evidence in various provinces of such tragedies. 
The targeting hospitals and medical centers, hundreds of them—indeed, hundreds of hospitals and medical centers were deliberately and systematically targeted and destroyed, and many often got killed, mainly those working or receiving medical treatment at these health facilities. Shouldn’t this act be seen as a heinous criminal act? And isn’t this act in violation of everything: international laws and costumes, human rights, and all other considerations. It is a crime in the broadest sense.  
If we want to categorize such crimes, which continue to take place in various governorates for years now, can anything legitimize or justify these crimes? Or can anyone argue that the committing of such crimes is in the interest of this country and that those who do this to the Yemeni people (killing them in their houses, mosques, hospital, and health centers and targeting medical workers) only intend good for this country?
The targeting of airports—what great suffering this has brought! With many hospitals, health facilities, and medical centers destroyed, many people in this country, especially in rural areas, have no medical services and as a result know no place to which  they can take their patients or wounded ones for treatment. This has caused great suffering to patients, the wounded,  and their relatives. This kind of targeting against the Yemeni people is of an aggressive nature, isn’t it? It is a man-made tragedy, but who is the one who has created it? Those who targeted these health facilities with their missiles and warplanes are the ones to blame, aren’t they? All the Yemeni people might suffer from this health issue, and of course, great damage has been inflicted on the health sector due to the economic situation—but we are focusing on the direct targeting only.   
The targeting of governmental centers and facilities, with all of their forms, including complexes, institutions, police stations, prisons, courts, and so on. Anything that provides services to the Yemeni people (be it a public center or building) and that has responsibility to fulfil toward people, the people of this country, was targeted—many were destroyed. Can anyone do this and still want good for the people of this country or still want for this country to have a government and institutions capable of serving the Yemeni people? His goal must be completely different! Even courts were targeted, and some judges were killed. Many documents in some courts were lost, and some of them contain substantiation provided by contending parties before court. 
Targeting power stations and generators, hundreds of them—this, of course, has caused great suffering to the Yemeni people. In cities, the suffering was very huge as many electricity-powered services were affected due to this kind of targeting, which as a result inflicted great suffering on people in many ways. In addition, this targeting was carried out deliberately: A power station was targeted in Sana’a, a second one in Sad’ah, a third one in Al-Hudaydah, and so on with various governorates including Taiz Governorate; these stations were clearly targeted. Who will suffer from this? Is it one specific party or a specific group? This suffering is affecting the Yemeni people, all of them, irrespective of their affiliation or race, isn’t it? Who has done this and why? Because it wants suffering for this nation and hopes that this suffering would break the will of this nation and force it to bend the knee—because it is aggressive in character and experiences comfort in making the people of this country suffer.  
The targeting of water tankers and stations—more than 2000 water facilities, tankers, and station that provide water services for residential populated areas have been targeted. Who is the one that seeks to make people suffer from thirsty? Who wants people in cities and other areas face difficulty in having access to water and intends to make the process of having access to water an effort-consuming and complicated process—and indeed great difficulties exist today? The people of Sana’a know the extent of the suffering that they suffered: The electricity services have been stopped, badly affecting the water stations and networks, which also have been affected by the targeting and shortage of fuel, as well. So, many factors have contributed to making the process of having access to water and healthy sanitation a very complicated process and led many people to depend on water trucks that provide water at a certain amount of money and often provide unhealthy water. The suffering caused by this is great and experienced in various cities. Who has caused this to happen and why? It seeks to make everyone suffer; it is filled with joy when seeing the people of this country suffering to get drinking water to get water for house use and when seeing them standing in lines to get water from a water tanker and water truck. Indeed, the suffering of our people brings it comfort because it is an enemy that hates the Yemeni people and considers them as enemies whose suffering and tragedies bring it joy. You can see how aggressive this coalition is. 
What is also weird is the coalition’s targeting of water baths: They even targeted Jaref bath in Bilad Ar Rus District of Sana’a Governorate, a natural bath that provides hot water used for natural health purposes. 
The targeting of telecommunications networks and stations—we all know the important role telecommunications plays these days and the great service it provides for people: Many aspects of people's lives (aspects that have to do with their way of handling their daily and economic issues) depend on telecommunications, which also helps save time and effort. Public telecommunications networks in this country that deliver their services to all citizens equally and irrespective of their race or their political and sectarian afflation, to all people in this country, were targeted with many airstrikes and in an intensive manner and destroyed. In many cases, the delivery of telecommunications services in many governorate stopped, causing great suffering to people there. 
The targeting of roads and bridges—the enemy puts great effort into targeting roads between governorates and main bridges that connect between governorates or that are part of main roads that connect one area with another, causing great suffering for the Yemeni people. With regard to the safety of roads, many cars and vehicles of various types were targeted while going back and forth, and the movement of vehicles and travellers was affected due to the targeting of roads and bridges. Indeed, movement between this governorate and that one has become very risky due to the repeated targeting of cars, transportation means, and travellers—there are many tragic scenes broadcasted by some media outlets.  
In addition, movement that involves delivering foodstuffs and goods or rescuing patients and that have to do with addressing people’s various needs of daily life suffered from targeting and carry a risk: the likelihood of facing the risk of being targeted. The suffering faced in roads has become greater than ever due to the great damage inflicted on them and the difficulty in carrying out road maintenance as a result of the harsh economic circumstances the country facing. Why did they commit this? They want to cause suffering to the Yemeni people, all of them. 
The targeting of markets, businesses, and food warehouses—there are two goals for the coalition of aggression when it comes to targeting markets. The first is to kill as many people as possible, benefiting from the fact that people tend to gather in markets in great numbers. They seek to commit a crime of genocide against the people of this country, and it brings them happiness to drop their bombs on places where people gather more than other places because this helps them commit a massacre with high causalities. In their effort to commit crimes of genocide and to kill the highest possible number of people, they target markets, which are busy with people.  
The second is to disturb people’s life. They realize that markets are important for the wellbeing of people’s economy and livelihood: Markets are where goods that people need can be found and the place that people head for to get their needs, including their food needs and many other needs necessary for their lives. Therefore, the targeting of markets aims at inflicting extensive harm on people that affects all aspects of their lives. This kind of targeting campaign is still ongoing and has led to great tragedies. Indeed, the coalition of aggression committed some of the most heinous crimes, dreadful and very heinous ‎crimes and massacres. Businesses were also targeted, as well as food warehouses. TV channels shared many scenes on that, not to mention the statistics released by the relevant authorities. 
The targeting of social occasion, wedding parties—this kind of targeting is among the worst kinds of targeting and occurred in Dhamar Governorate, which is not strange to this kind of targeting, Hajjah, Taiz, Sana’a, Sad’ah, Al-Jawf, and Marib, in various governorates. Targeting wedding parties and people while participating in a wedding party turned such wedding parties into funerals and into tragedies and joy into sorrow and grief. Such crimes are heinous and leave scenes that are very tragic and painful to the degree a person can’t watch them without being overwhelmed by a feeling of great sorrow and grief. In most cases, a person won’t be able to hold back his/her tears as the human feelings overflow and force him/her to cry. Can anyone say that the scenes from the wedding party targeted in Bani Qais of Hajja Governorate were not tragic scenes? Scenes of wedding parties after being targeted with the coalition’s bombs—what a crime! What kind of brutality have they reached in order to have the ability to commit such crimes? Is there anything that can legitimize of justify such crimes? Can those crimes be in the interest of this country or its people? Is this the kind of services you want to present for the Yemeni people? Many are the stories that have been documented regarding this—some were not documented—and the details and the scenes have been shared.  
 Funerals, too, are no exception—the most notable case is the targeting of the Grand Hall located at the heart of Sana’a where a funeral was conducted (a social occasion that should be respected). There are many similar cases of funerals targeted for the same purpose the targeting of markets serves: Killing as many people as possible and adding more sorrow to the funeral and more pain to the tragedy. They are heinous, serious, horrific, and vicious crimes that can’t be legitimized or justified. Such crimes common are of a common and frequent occurrence. 
Another thing to add to the list is the targeting of the displaced people’s tents, which took place in various governorates, including Hajjah Governorate, as well as the targeting of the displaced whether in movement or at places that provide shelter for them, which are not limited to camps but include housing units, schools, typical places, tents, and even trees. There are many tragic scenes broadcasted in this regard, and details were documented. What kind of brutality and criminality is this? Although the displaced person was forced to flee to other areas from the aggression, they came after him/her to end his/her life with a massacre.  
The targeting of monuments and historical cities, which frequently took place in Sana’a, Al-Jawaf, Taiz, Al-Hudaydah, and in other various governorates. How many times has the Old City of Sana’a been subjected to destruction and criminal targeting (airstrikes hit the heart of the city)? The Old City of Sad’ah—ancient monuments in Al-Jawaf, Taiz, and Al-Hudaydah governorates were destroyed, not to mention the targeting and destruction of ancient mosques. Even ancient cemeteries, as well as some cemeteries from the present time, were targeted with bombs that spared no one even the dead! What kind of brutality is this? What kind of stupidity is this? What kind criminality is this? Is there anything that can legitimize or justify this kind of targeting? No! This can expose the true nature of this aggression and its real identity and goals, its real goals that all about destroying everything in this country in a systematic and comprehensive manner. 
The targeting of fishermen—among the crimes the coalition of aggression has focused on since the first day and until today is the targeting of fishermen. That is why fishing has become a task and adventure that could end with a tragedy: The fisherman goes to sea with one question in mind, will he (instead of returning safely) be killed or kidnapped? So, fishermen are subjected to killing and kidnapping. Indeed, this kind of targeting has occurred repeatedly. Boats are also among the targets: The targeting is directed against boats with no fisherman on board as well as against fishermen in their boats. Many people in Al-Hudaydah Governorate were badly affected since they depend on fishing for securing their livelihoods: Being dependent on fishing, they go fishing and then sell what they caught with an effort and buy wheat and other basic necessities for their families. Many of them, thousands in number, are badly affected to the degree that they abandoned their profession, the profession they depend on to secure their livelihoods. 
In addition, the Yemeni people are now facing great difficulties in exploiting and having access to fisheries. That is  because fishing has become an adventure and that fishermen are conscious of the fact that they might not be able to return since they run the risk of being targeted or kidnapped. Could those who do this want any good for this country? Is there anything that can legitimize or justify this? Or can this be seen as noble goals that are in the interest of this country instead of thinking of it as a harm-inflicting campaign against the Yemeni people? They come after everyone in every field, in every profession, and in every job so that they can inflect harm on all people—they want to harm everyone and spare no one! the extent of the suffering caused by this kind of targeting has become known to the people of Al-Hudaydah Governorate, Hajjah Governorate, and other coastal governorates.
The targeting of factories of all types—factories available in Yemen, such as cement plants and food factories of light industries (potato chips factories, crackers factories, etc.) have been among the targets hit and destroyed. The same is true with fuel stations and means of transport that play an important role in producing and delivering foodstuffs into all governorates. This kind of targeting aims at harming the national economy and inflicting harm and suffering on the Yemeni people.  

The targeting of poultry farms —is there anything that can justify the targeting of poultry farms? Are they military bases? Do chickens have a military side—do they fear that chickens might peck them or what? The targeting of poultry farms and livestock as a whole, including cattle farm—even when they see a gathering for Bedouins with their livestock (camels, cows, sheep, or goats), they target them; this has taken place repeatedly and in different areas and was shared in the form of videos and other documenting files with the media. 
Why would they target this—a poultry farm? How many poultry farms—is it known? There are hundreds of them. And they have become among the coalition’s main targets. Their aim is to inflect harm on people, isn’t it? Even chicken meat they seek to keep out of the reach of people. This also aims at inflicting harm on this profession and those whose livelihoods come from buying and selling chickens. 
The intensive targeting of agricultural fields—more than 7000 agricultural fields have been targeted. The targeting is directed at the agriculture, the agricultural sector, agricultural markets, ‎and the transport of food crops—this kind of transport has its own share of this intensive targeting, and there are cases in which you can see vehicles burning in main roads while corps scattered. Damage also inflicted on agricultural markets and corps, as well. 
Another thing to add is the targeting of sports facilities. Even sport facilities—this means they seek to target all aspects of this life! Even football stadiums, many of them have been targeted. 
The targeting—even no one expected it would be among the targets hit by the coalition of aggression—of a shelter center for blind children. We don’t know the unseen (Allah, alone, is the all-knowing), but it is not unthinkable that Seitan, himself, was shocked by this criminal innovation—even we can’t affirm or exclude that. Indeed, how could they think of targeting a shelter center for the blind, those who lost their sight and still have insight (Allah willing)? Is there anything that can explain this kind of targeting? Brutality, criminality, stupidity, tyranny, arrogance, barbarism, and all other words that refer to evil can be applied to this crime, which was documented and shared on TV. 
The coalition’s target list has included other thing, unexpected things, such as the Seismic Monitoring Center in Dhamar Governorate—how strange this is!
Museums also have been targeted repeatedly. 
Targeting horse stables and killing all the horses in these stables in a heart-breaking and painful manner—this is baffling! Some went to say that they hate and envy the Yemeni people for having some pure Arabian horses and, as a result, sought to exterminate these horses 
The targeting of all kinds of animals—there is no need to discuss this in greater details.  
Since the beginning of the aggression, these such crimes have continued to widely occur—some of them in the very beginning of the aggression. Indeed, some examples of the vast majority of these crimes were committed in great numbers in the first month of the aggression; other crimes committed later. Before giving any justification for the committing of such crimes, it is important to note that the number of those crimes committed is huge: Some of them are thousands in number, some in their hundreds. They are also systematic crimes and can’t be considered as mistakes or individual acts: First, this enemy possesses the technologies and capabilities that can identify the target—it has satellites in operation; it has advanced planes for monitoring; it has very sophisticated imagery and monitoring systems and very advanced technologies; it also has agents on the ground, the spies and traitors who provide the coalition with the information it needs—and the scenes show how easy it is to identify the target since the targeted markets and places are unmistakable (you can mistake them for something else), and so are the targeted agricultural fields, hospitals, health centers, schools, and service facilities (all of them are unmistakable and the coalition keeps targeting them over and over).
Then, we have the ground invasion, occupation, and the so many crimes that followed. The ground invasion and occupation of wide areas in this country—a number of governorates have been occupied—is a crime, a crime! That is because such an act violates the sovereignty and independence of this country and the rights of its people. In addition, when they seize control over this country, they humiliate its people and commit killing at a large scale as a result of ground operations—thousands and thousands of people in this country have been killed due to this aggression and occupation and many are facing all types of torture in the coalition’s prisons and other crimes including rape in the occupied governorates.  
This occupation and ground invasion, which is a crime that targets this country and violates its sovereignty and independence, and all that crimes that followed (killing, kidnapping, torturing, using humiliation, and committing oppression, appropriation of decision-making, and many other thing including rape), have included some governorates where there is no armed confrontation: They have expanded to Al-Mahra, Hadhramaut, and Socotra even though there is nothing can justifies invading these areas, deploying foreign troops there, or  bringing these areas under the control of some of their men, not even under the control of those mercenaries and the traitors who have sold everything to guard the interest of the coalition—this is one of the coalition’s most serious crimes.  
Another very serious crime to add to the list—a crime that represents one of the most serious forms of the targeting directed against the people of this country—is the coalition’s effort to provoke division within the Yemeni people with the use of all types of pretexts. At the media level, the coalition of aggression devotes a very considerable amount of effort to creating division within the people of this country. 
Playing the racist card, the coalition has sought to provoke division among the people of this same country, among those who are brothers and linked by the most sacred bonds (the brotherhood bonds of faith) and share the same faith and country. It has been trying to play the racist card. Who is playing the racist card? It is the coalition, isn’t it (Along with its mercenaries)? Who is playing the racist card day and night? Who keeps directing insults against the people of this country? Who makes every effort to spread distinction and incite racial hatred and strife between the people of this country? It is the coalition of aggression. As for those who stand up to this aggression, they have nothing to do with such evil work. On the contrary, they want for the people of this country to remain brothers and to help and support one another as if they were one hand. 
The sectarian card—who has come up with the term ‘the Majus’ and used it to call the Yemeni people? The Prophet says, ‘the belief is that of the Yemenites and sagacity is that of the Yemenites’. Even so, they call the Yemeni people ‘the Majus’ and ‘Rafiḍah’ and legitimize their killing. Who did come up with the greatest lie ever in this century, ‎the greatest calumny, against the Yemeni people by claiming that they threaten Makah and seek to invade it and to target it with missiles?    
I know ( Allah knows best) no one more faithful than the Yemeni people or more eager to sacrifice his/her life for the Sacred House of Allah, for Makkah. They are the ones who have remained faithful even to Al-Aqsa Mosque, at a time when it was abandoned and sold by the Arabs, who also turned their backs to it for some political gains. So, you can imagine what the case would be when it comes to Makkah and  Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah! The Yemeni corner bears witness to the Yemeni people, to their true identity: Who are they in their faith and loyalty to Allah, their loyalty to the Islamic religion, their loyalty to the Messenger and the Quran, and their loyalty to Islamic sanctities, especially Makkah (the Sacred House of Allah), the Prophet Mohamed’s Mosque, Madinah al-Munawwara, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and Al-Quds (and other holy sites). Is there any people believed to be more faithful than you? Without doubt, it is the Yemeni people. 
What is the purpose of playing these many cards—the sectarian, nationalist, and racist cards? Who is playing these cards? Who instructs its media outlets to use them? Who makes these cards an essential part of his propaganda and media campaign? It is you, isn’t it? You, the coalition of aggression, are the one to blame and your mercenaries. You are the ones playing these cards. Is there anything in Islam that calls for such a thing? Is there anything in Islam that can legitimize the act of inciting sectarian, ethnic, and regional strife among the people of the same country? Can such an act have any good purpose? Does this be in the  interest of the Yemeni people? What is the logic that is in harmony with Islam, with humanity, with the truth, and in harmony with the real interest of the people of this country? Is it the logic that calls for sectarian, ethnic, and political strife and that uses the language that stirs  up hatred and division? Or is it the logic that calls for brotherhood, cooperation, unity, harmony, and faith-based identity? Your logic is well-known and has been exposed. 
Another crime, one of the most heinous crimes, to add to the list is the blockade. Indeed, the crime of blockade, this comprehensive blockade, is one of the most heinous and serious crimes being committed against our Yemeni people.  
Through blockade, the enemy aims at restricting and preventing the delivery of food and only allows access to food with an effort and at a great cost. Wheat and other various foodstuffs can never get access to this country without facing great  delays, restrictions, fees, and high costs, which demands great effort and increases their price when entering Yemen. It is the Yemeni citizen who suffers from this—it is the people of this country, especially the poor, the vast majority in this country, who suffer most. 
The coalition of aggression has sought to prevent access to medical supplies, and made every effort to ensure that no delivery can be made without facing great difficulty and suffering, as well as delays, which, as a result, pushes costs up. Who is suffering from this? The people of this country are the ones suffering from this, aren’t they? 
Preventing patients from receiving treatment abroad—patients in Yemen are not allowed to travel, except a very limited number and even with a great effort (but even such cases were very rare). The coalition of aggression deprived the vast majority of patients of their right to travel for treatment, even to travel to countries that are part of this coalition, such as Jordan. We have only some few cases that made it through and with a great effort.  
It demands very great effort to enter basic supplies and needs into the country—in fact, most of these needs enter through smuggling and with a great effort—which is dramatically pushing up the costs and causing great suffering to the people of this country. But only with difficulty (which includes exorbitant prices) can most people meet their basic needs, the necessities of their lives.     
Why does the coalition of aggression do this? Because it wants the Yemeni people, all of them, to suffer. The more the suffering of the Yemeni people gets, the more comfort the coalition enjoys—the suffering of all Yemenis irrespective of their sectarian and political affiliation. This suffering is not limited to this family or that one and is not limited to this religious group or that one, is it? No, it is the kind of suffering  that knows no barriers and is experienced in all Yemeni governorates. 
The coalition is also impeding and preventing the delivery of oil and gas shipments, making it impossible for oil and gas shipments to have access to the country without facing great delays and baring enormous costs. Such coalition-created conditions are badly affecting all areas of life in Yemen since the Yemeni people need fuel in all aspects of their life: Hospitals need fuel; water stations need fuel; power stations need fuel; and so many things including means of transport depend on fuel. The Yemeni people are suffering greatly because of this, and the coalition knows this and puts great effort into this direction to inflict the greatest harm possible on people. The Saudi regime, Saudi officials and officers, Emirati officers, and those traitors working with them feel happy when the see the Yemeni people suffering and standing in long lines for some fuel at a high price—this brings them joy and makes them think that they won the war! So, their comfort comes from the suffering and pain of the Yemeni people. 
Every person suffering from any of what we have just mention needs to always remember that the Saudi is the one responsible for this suffering and to direct his/her curse against those responsible, those who might be a Saudi officer, Saudi official, Emirati official and others above them and those traitorous mercenaries. Indeed, every affected person needs to know who is responsible and the one s/he must blame and direct his/her anger at. We need to know who is responsible for our suffering because of its hostility, its criminality, and its criminal acts in order to be able to make it the target of our anger and legitimate response for all these crimes committed. 
The suffering is too great not to see, but we still need to bring these issues up because we, the Yemeni people, are experiencing them in reality—we, the oppressed Yemeni people, are the ones feeling these issues first-hand and experiencing all these forms of targeting.   
The gas issue—what a great issue that affects every household—also adds more suffering and causes hard circumstances. Sometimes, this suffering gets greater.  
Why do you do this to the Yemeni people? Why do you show this great hostility toward them? Why do you cause so much pain to them? What kind of criminality and brutality is yours! You distanced yourselves far away from all human feelings. You are the enemy of the Yemeni people, and that is why you spared no one from this suffering caused by your crimes, plots, and obstructions. 
With regard to the economy, a plot was made against the Central Bank and the revenues that its financial resources: They have completely cancelled its role in Sana’a after coming up with another version in Aden. The main role of this new version is to wage war against the Yemeni people and take all measures that can harm merchants, the business process, and currency, to a large extent. 
In this context, they printed a very great deal of money and pumped it into the economy to decrease the value of the Yemeni currency. They also prevented the Central Bank from receiving and manging revenues, leading to difficult economic conditions and disrupting salary payments of salaries. The payment of salaries is disrupted because the fact that the revenues are no longer sent to the Central Bank in Sana’a and that they prevent the bank from playing its role and keep stealing the revenues coming from other governorates. That is why salaries have gone unpaid. So many people in this country are suffering due to the disruption of salary payments.it is a great tragedy.    
Why do you do this? Because you don’t want salaries to be sent to those families who depend on salaries meet their needs; because you want for employees, who are thousands in number, to have their share of suffering; because you want for the local currency to decrease in value and lose its value against the Dollar so that prices keep rising; because you want the Yemeni people to experience all forms of suffering,  especially that form of suffering that affects their livelihood; because you are the enemy of this nation; because you unjustly launched war against this country; and because you have evil goals full of wickedness, criminality, and hostility against the Yemeni people. 
The right describtion to what you are doing to this nation and this country is summarized and presented in this qur’anic verse: {‘Whenever he attains authority, he sets out to spread corruption in the land, destroying crops and livestock, and God does not like corruption’}. Indeed, this is what they have been and still are doing, and their daily practices of their aggression against our country are all about spreading corruption on earth and destroying corps and livestock.   
In view of what has been said, what is the right stance that we should take against this aggression, against its goals (to control and occupy our country; to deprive us of our right to freedom, dignity, and dependence; to enslave the people of this country and treat them unjustly and harshly), and against all its practices, these criminal, brutal, and bad practices? The right stance is well known to us, the Yemeni people; to all other countries and peoples from the Muslim Ummah; and  to the non-Muslim world. The right stance that takes into account all humanitarian and ethical considerations, humanitarian norms, international laws, and human rights. The right stance is well known: to condemn this aggression and consider it a serious crime that has created the worst humanitarian tragedy in this century. 
Surely, surrender is not an option for us because we belong to Yemen of faith and we are the ones suffering all this injustice. After all these criminal, barbaric, and brutal acts practiced against us, how could we surrender? How could we remain silent? How could we stay calm?    
Our human nature gives us enough of a reason to stand up to this aggression, let alone our identity of faith (‘the belief is that of the Yemenites’), our faith-driven might, and our dignity. Silence is not an option. That is why steadfastness and resistance to this aggression are the title that best describe the stance of the people of this country, the freemen of this country. 

The legitimacy of our stance: the Quran-based legitimacy
When it comes to the legitimacy of our stance, there is no doubt that it is a legitimate stance: International law, all humanitarian norms, and all that rules and laws used in Allah-believing and non-believing societies grant us the right to defend our country, people, and ourselves and to stand up to this aggression—the aggression that practiced such criminality and brutality and that occupy and control our country.     
What is more important to us is than all of that (than the Security Council, the UN, etc.) is that our legitimacy comes from the Quran and our faith: We see this as a religious, moral, and value-based duty, for Allah says in the Holy Quran,{‘Permission is given to those who are fought against, because they have been wronged, and Allah is powerful enough to give them victory’}. 
Therefore, when it comes to standing up to this aggression with all its criminality, brutality, and barbarism, we don’t need to have permission from the Security Council, the UN, or the Hebrew League, nor do we need the permission of the European countries or any other entities. That is because we take our legitimacy from the Quran: Allah gave us His permission, and we, as His servants, believe in Him as our Lord, King, Protector, Owner, and God—we believe in Him and in His book, His religion, and His guidance. Indeed, we, as an oppressed and attacked nation facing this criminal and barbaric aggression, have this permission from Him. We are facing unprovoked aggression: We did not start aggression against anyone; they are the ones who started this aggression against us, killed thousands of us, and destroyed everything in our country without provocation. We don’t seek permission from any capital, embassy, body, council, or tyrant neither from the West nor from the East because we have this permission to fulfil this sacred and legitimate duty: {‘Permission is given to those who are fought against'}. We have been wronged; all that I have mentioned is injustice, isn’t it?  
If this can’t be regarded as injustice—all these crimes that killed men, women, children, and elderly and young people and destroyed everything in this country—is there anything more than this that can be regarded as injustice? If this is not a crime, what is your definition of crime? What else—besides everything we mentioned—can be described as injustice or criminality?
An injustice has been done to us, and we are fighting unprovoked aggression and war: They are the ones who came to us after declaring this aggression was declared from the ends of the earth, from the western part of this earth; their armies, warplanes, and mercenaries came to our country and to our cities and villages to commit aggression against us; the invaded our country from its outskirts; the battles that they have created and reached Marib Governorate and the southern governorates rolled from outside Yemen; and their vehicles and mercenaries (the Sudanese mercenaries, the Chadian mercenaries, and mercenaries from many different countries) are brought from outside Yemen to occupy it and killed us in our country. Indeed, they are killing us in Yemen, in our villages, in our cities, in our areas, in our mountains, in our plains, and in our deserts. We committed aggression against no one: We are defending our country and ourselves, and we are the oppressed and the attacked. Therefore, Allah gave us permission and even promised to support us: Allah says, {‘and Allah is powerful enough to give them victory’}‎‎; and He also reassures us that He will stand by us when we perform our duty since He says,{‘And those who, when oppression befalls them, defend themselves’} —who is the oppressor, and who is the oppressed?
They are the ones who started aggression against us, aren’t they? they are the ones who came to kill us in the middle of night—they attacked us in the middle of night in a sudden and unexpected way and without any provocation (no clashes or any problems). 
Allah says, {‘ So whoever starts hostilities against you, be hostile to him in the same measure as he has been hostile to you’}. Therefore, we go by this Quranic legitimacy provided in His book: He says, {‘Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you’}; {‘And whoever has retaliated with the like of that which he was made to suffer, and then has again been wronged, Allah will surely help him’}; and {‘There is no blame on those who enforce justice after being wronged’}. 
We are Yemen of faith: Our principles and causes are Quranic in character and based on our faith. Therefore, our positon depends on this kind of legitimacy, and we don’t care about anyone taking another position—no one can ask us to bend the knee and remain submissive and calm in the face of the brutality of the enemies. This positon is the position of all the components of the Yemeni people (all freemen in this country), and it is not limited to one group. It is true that the Ansar Allah Movement plays a leading and main role in leading this national position‎, the popular and official position, but they are not alone. I am not making a disavowal now by saying this—and why should I do such a thing? It’s a source of great pride for the Ansar Allah Movement to have a main role in this battle and also represents a great honour and success that Allah favoured us with—but the truth is that they are not alone. Indeed, all freemen in this country share the same position, and they are from all different sects, components, regions, and governorates and have the same position and decision that calls for standing up against this aggression. 
Action tracks 
Some might have their own reasons (humanitarian reasons, national reasons, etc.), but they share the same positon: to stand up to this aggression; to prevent the coalition from occupying this country and controlling the Yemeni people; and to make every effort to restore our freedom, dignity, and independence. Many people have moved in this direction and participated in important action tracks, including participating in the battlefield in all various frontlines.  
The good people from all the components of this country have moved toward the frontlines in a way that demonstrates a great deal of pride, steadfastness, courage, chivalry, might, dignity, and faith-driven fury with the aim of preventing the enemy from occupying this country and confronting those the coalition of aggression brought into Yemen (the mercenaries, ISIS, Al-Qaeda, etc.). The battlefield saw some of the finest examples of steadfastness and courage in face of the aggression.
With regard to military industrialization, the intensive blockade has prompted the people of this country, the freemen, to put great effort in the field of military industrialization, and they were able (by Allah’s grace and help) to manufacture various types of weapons, from Kalashnikovs, to ballistic missiles, drones, and winged missiles. It is a great and strategic achievement that came through the grace of Allah. 
Our Yemeni people were also able to strike targets in the depth of the coalition of aggression and to target vital facilities, military bases, and military airports. Such strikes have become a source of great disturbance for them, to the degree that when they come under attack, many others cry out with them and their friends and masters start releasing statements of condemnation and expressing concern. In fact, we can’t care less because we know well our position and the different factors that shape the world’s attitude. 
With regard to the military operations, the Yemeni army, supported by our people, has conducted thousands of military operations of various types, ranging from raids, to offensive operations, to defensive operations, and to other special operations that include engineering operations, armoured operations, and sharpshooting operations.
Movement has also been made in all other areas. At the economic level, great efforts have been made. We also have the social solidarity effort; however, time is too short to get in all the details. Such continued efforts demonstrate the vitality of this nation, which can be seen in the protests and the support that comes in the form of money and men. At the information, awareness-raising, and mobilization levels, continued efforts are being put in documenting the crimes and achievements, as well. 
With this steadfastness comes great benevolence, and the first and greatest example on this benevolence is the martyrs: Every day there are convoys of martyrs. This benevolence is also embodied in the suffering of the wounded and the prisoners of war, in the suffering of their families, and in the great heroic examples   our fighters in all different frontlines show in confronting this aggression. 
The people of this country, the free people aware of their responsibilities, have their own contribution. Even women have their own great and honourable contribution, shown great sacrifices, great patience, and great generosity, and also contributed with money and even jewellery! Indeed, we have seen great generosity and sacrifice, as well. 
The great fruit of this steadfastness is that we have embodied our principles and values at the humanitarian, moral, and religious levels, as well as at the practical level, and that we, with the help of Allah, defended our freedom, independence, and dignity, and that we secured the future of these coming generations so that they can live with freedom, dignity, and independence. 
Another very important fruit is that we have caused great suffering to the enemies by inflicting great losses on them and making them suffer repeated failures. We do not have the time here to go into all of the details in this regard. 
Closing points
It is time to move to our closing points: 
•    We affirm that steadfastness is the only available option for our Yemeni people that goes in harmony with our humanitarian, moral, and faithful principles, and we also affirm that this choice is, beyond doubt, legitimate and that our people will continue to stand up to the ongoing aggression and blockade with pride, determination, and perseverance and seek the help and support of Allah who says, {‘Allah is enough as a Wali and Allah is enough as supporter’}. 
•    Second, our advice for the coalition of aggression is to immediately stop this aggression and blockade: Sex years is enough to prove their failure, and it has become clear that they will achieve nothing but more and more failures and crimes. We are ready for honourable peace that doesn’t compromise the legitimate rights of Yemeni people or their right to freedom and independence. 
Recently, the Americans along with the Saudis and some European and non-European countries make an effort to make us accept compromising on the humanitarian situation and on the inherent human right of the Yemeni people to have access to fuel, food, medical supplies, and basic needs. We were asked to link this right to military and political conditions and agreements. There is no way that we will agree to this because having access to fuel, food, medicine, and basic humanitarian supplies is a human and legal right and should not be used as a bargaining chip to practice blackmail or impose military and political conditions. Indeed, this can only be seen as an act of exploitation and blackmail, and we will not accept such a thing because doing so would be a great sin and treason against the Yemeni people since this means submission and would also give the enemy the pretext to use these conditions to justify the impediment of the flow of fuel, food, and medicine: Any small-scale clashes created by a mercenary in this area and a traitor in that area or a Saudi here and a Sudanese there would be used as a pretext for impeding the delivery of fuel, food, medicine or any other basic humanitarian needs.    
We without any doubt can’t accept turning the delivery of humanitarian goods : International law prohibits this; there is no law or resolution by the UN or the Security Council that can give the coalition of aggression the right to commit such an act. Indeed, there is nothing that can legitimize or justify such an act, an act that is aggressive and unjust and aims at inflicting harm on the people of this country.  
The pathway toward peace is clear: All you need is to end your aggression—remember that you’re the aggressor, and we are the attacked; that you are fighting form the positon of aggression, and we are fighting from a defensive position; and that you are the one imposing the blockade, and we are the ones suffering from the blockade. So, all you need is to end your blockade and aggression and withdraw from our country, and, as a result, this problem will come to an end and we can move in other related areas: 
You continue to stick to this state of aggression and to impose this intensive blockade and these arbitrary and unjust measures. Even so, you introduce what you call initiatives and use the legitimate rights of the Yemeni people as a bargaining chip for political and military gains. This will do no good for this country, and rather complicate the problem. You are trying to justify your unjustifiable blockade with the use of these conditions or any military or political developments.
We, the unjustly attacked not the aggressor, are ready for peace, but we will never concede the right of our people to freedom, independence, and dignity, as well as the right to have access to fuel, food, medicine and basic humanitarian needs. Such needs should never be used as a bargaining chip to impose military and political conditions. 
•    Third, driven by their identity of faith, the Yemeni people remain committed to their principled position toward the Ummah’s questions, foremost the Palestinian question, and to condemn and denounce serving and making friends with Israel under the banner ‘normalization of ties’. With the pass of all these years, facts have become clearer than any time before regarding the existence of a joint Israeli, Saudi, and Emirati effort. This joint effort is, without any doubt, condemned because it targets all people in the region and aims at enabling Israel to find its way into our Ummah-related issues, including the problems of the Ummah’s nations, in a way that makes it possible for Israel (an entity that has imposed itself on the region with the use of force and occupation) to become the one who leads the whole region and has the right to interfere in the affairs of its nations—this can’t be acceptable and should be condemned.  
Our people also maintain their principle-based positon opposing all efforts aimed at provoking division and strife among the people of our Ummah through playing the racist, sectarian, and ethnical card. We consider the Islam-driven brotherhood a religious principle and a faith-based commitment since our enemies, including the coalition of aggression, seek to provoke division among the people of the Ummah through using and playing the racist, sectarian, and ethnical card—a great deal of their effort goes into this direction.
•    Fourth, we, the Yemeni people, will continue to step up our efforts in all fields, and we should turn challenges into opportunities and join forces at the official and public levels to strengthen all factors that can build up our steadfastness. We also need to focus on improving and developing all fields, including the economic field—we need to focus on the field of domestic production, the field of agriculture, and the field of industrialization. 
Of course, there is no need to get into greater details—we (by Allah’s grace) have many action tracks with detailed plans that we intend to put into use. 
•    Fifth, we will continuously seek to clean and reform state institutions so that they can fulfil their responsibilities toward the Yemeni people. There is no need to say that this is a big and complicated task: There are many consequences from the past that continue to badly affect the structure of this country, its institutions, its workforce, its policies, and many other things. 
So, today, we have an effort-demanding task that aims at reforming the structure of this country’s institutions, workforce, policies and rebuilding it from the beginning so that they can play their role in serving the people of this country. The reforming process requires a considerable amount of time, effort, and money, as well as appropriate conditions, but we are moving in this direction. There are shortcomings, but there are also serious efforts and a sincere will, as well. Suffering and obstacles still exist, and we are not satisfied with the official performance because it suffers from shortcomings, obstacles, problems, and mistakes. However, I swear by Allah that we are working tirelessly and with a sincere will to correct and improve this performance. We place our hope on Allah and the Yemeni people: Cooperation needs to prevail instead of the wrongful exploitation that some stick to.  
There must be great care for social solidarity—this is happening, and it needs to continue to a greater extent and in a better organized way. We intend to organize it in a better way and to take care of Al-Zakat— first-class merchants are ‎the most people stealing Al-Zakat money, although it contributes greatly to alleviating the suffering of the poor. 

•    Seventh, I call for an effective and huge participation in the National Day of Steadfastness protests that will be held tomorrow, Friday (Allah willing). That is because of the fact that the protests and great attendance of our people demonstrate the vitality, courage, effectiveness, determination, and unshakable decision to stand up to this aggression. 
Let’s not to forget to conclude these points with expressing thanks to all those—by the way, they are few—who have stood by our people, especially the Islamic Republic of Iran, and who have taken positive and humanitarian positions, such as Oman, the good neighbour—there is no comparison between such a neighbour and the bad neighbour that has committed an aggression against us and betrayed us, as well. 
And we express our thanks to those who have stood by us from the people of our Ummah, notably Hezbollah and its Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and to all those who have took a principled, humanitarian, and moral stance to support the Yemeni people in facing this injustice, the greatest injustice.   
Now, it is time for the We-are-coming part. Over the past years, in particular after every year, we have seen great developments in the results and in reality, from year to year: The enemies have added nothing to their record except more failures and brutal crimes, while our deer Yemeni people have manged through their steadfastness and reliance on Allah to achieve more and more achievements and successes at all levels.  
And here we are coming in the seventh year from a positon of strength (By the grace of Allah) at  all levels: at the level of military industrialization, at the level of progress achieved on the ground, at the level of popular awareness, at the level of military momentum, at the level of security achievement, at the level of economic steadfastness, at the level of political stability, and at the level of commitment to the position of faith. We are coming, not retreating, nor despairing, nor disappointed! We are coming (Allah willing) and moving forward, moving forward to greater achievements, greater victories, more successes, and stronger stability. And all of that only come from our reliance on Allah and our confidence in Him: {‘Victory only comes from Allah’}. 
O Allah (Glory be to You), have mercy on our martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives , and grant us victory.
Peace be upon you, as well as the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
