Speech by Al-Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi on the Latest Developments

Thursday, 15 Dhu Al-Qadah 1445 A.H. (23 May 2024 A.D.)

I seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan, the outcast.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.

O Allah, confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.

Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

In today's speech about the updates of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, we will speak briefly about the martyrs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and in the internal context, we will speak briefly about the anniversary of Yemen's unity. At the beginning, let's speak about the updates from the past week regarding the brutal, savage, and criminal aggression by the Israeli enemy on the Gaza Strip.

In the middle of the eighth month, for the thirty-third week, and for the past 230 days, the Israeli enemy continues to accumulate its criminal record of committing genocide and executing the most heinous crimes, paralleled by a record of failure and setbacks. The number of massacres has exceeded 3,225—a staggering number! The number of martyrs, missing persons, wounded, and captives in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank is approximately 140,200 Palestinians, most of whom are children and women. Just this week, the Israeli enemy has committed more than 40 massacres in the Gaza Strip, resulting in over 1,300 martyrs and wounded.

The aggression launched by the Israeli enemy on the Gaza Strip continues for the purpose of killing and destruction. The Israeli enemy will not achieve the goals announced for this aggression. There is an American and Israeli recognition of the lack of possibility to achieve such goals, which the Israeli enemy clings to merely as a means for killing and nothing else. It is also a war on children, with the number of child martyrs exceeding 15,000.

Despite all the clear acts of genocide committed by the Israeli enemy—some of which are broadcasted by TV channels and sometimes even live, as it commits crimes during live broadcasts—the US President spoke this week, describing what is happening there (in Gaza) and what the Israeli enemy is doing as not being a genocide.

The US President does not consider these heinous and horrific crimes —the killing of the people of Gaza, including children, women, men, the elderly, and the young in their homes, with American bombs that obliterate entire neighbourhoods and destroy and annihilate entire residential blocks—as crimes of genocide! He does not consider the killing of people in the streets and roads as a crime of genocide! The targeting of hungry people gathered around aid trucks, which once used to enter in very small numbers, is not an act of genocide to him! The starvation of hundreds of thousands of Palestinian people, the prevention of even baby formula milk, forcing people to eat tree leaves, if found in some areas, making them eat ground herbs, the destruction of the healthcare system, the prevention of medicine for the sick and injured, the pursuit of patients to kill them in their hospital beds, disconnecting ventilators, burying many alive, and crushing the disabled under tank treads—all of that is not an act of genocide or even a crime according to the US president! The displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza; chasing them from place to place; killing them in shelters and refugee tents; targeting bakeries, ovens, water wells, and the sewage system; and committing other horrific crimes—including targeting premature infants in their incubators in hospitals and not sparing the infants, the elderly, or the sick in their beds at home—all of that the US President does not consider to be crimes or acts of genocide!

This is not strange to the masters of crime, from the Americans, who themselves have a very bad and well-established history in committing genocide. They annihilated hundreds of thousands of civilians in Japan with atomic bombs in minutes and wiped out a significant portion—possibly up to a third—of the population of Vietnam. They also annihilated many civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan. It is not strange to them that they would make such statements regarding what the Israeli enemy is doing with their support and participation in committing a genocide against the Palestinian people. They label these actions with terms that completely contradict the reality and the truth and devoid of any sense of justice. They hold more hatred towards Muslim and Arab peoples and show greater disregard for their human dignity and even their humanness, too. Their view of Muslim nations, including Arab nations, is one of utter disrespect for human dignity. Their (the Americans') significant and fundamental partnership in the Zionist crimes in Gaza is such that without it the Israeli atrocities would not have reached their current level in terms of capabilities, but not in terms of aggressive and vengeful tendencies, since the Israelis possess immense hatred and criminal tendencies. However, in terms of capabilities, political cover, and support to immobilize others from taking action, the American participation in Zionist crimes is so substantial that without it, those crimes would not have reached their current extent, nor continued as they are now.

The American partnership in that criminality is a fundamental partnership. The Americans are complicit in the criminality and siege. As for the floating port, it is an American military base, and therefore the Americans were exposed when they brought in armoured vehicles and air defence systems: It appeared as a military base. The essence of the matter is that the Americans want to turn the Gaza Strip into a prison in every sense of the word, with one maritime gate controlled by them, with American military personnel as the gatekeepers of that prison. This is the situation the Americans want. They want to control the little, little humanitarian aid that reaches the Gaza Strip and to employ it in a way that serves them militarily, along with the Israelis.

Also, it is strange what the Americans were saying about suspending a massive military shipment, which contained many bombs intended to destroy cities and kill civilians. They said that they had delayed sending it, and now they are talking about its arrival to the Israeli enemy, to kill the Palestinian people with it! The Americans tried to pretend to have some rationality, as if they were concerned about the lives of civilians, while it is their bombs, support, and cover that caused what has happened and allowed the Israelis to do what they have done since the beginning of their aggression on the Gaza Strip until today.

Therefore, it is very important for all the peoples of the world, foremost the Islamic countries in the Arab region and elsewhere, that they firmly establish the correct and conscious view of the hostile, destructive, and disregardful American role towards humanity, as well as the reality of American hostile policies and orientations. This is important with regard to all the files related to each of our Arab and Islamic countries, and the rest of the files in the world. The American orientation and policy is aggressive, unjust, unfair, disregarding of human dignity, the interests of peoples, and rights. All those titles that the West, led by America, speaks of, such as human rights and others, are mere heresy and empty talk, with no reality other than political exploitation and utilization.

In addition to what the Israeli enemy has done and is doing in the Gaza Strip, it is also escalating in the West Bank. One of the most prominent of its crimes and escalation in the West Bank was its repeated aggression against Jenin. This week, there has been a major aggression against Jenin, in which the Israeli enemy committed crimes of murder and destruction of buildings, streets, and neighbourhoods, as well as kidnappings and various other types of crimes. It has also committed assaults and escalated the situation in Nablus, Tulkarm, Tubas, the Nur Shams camp, and other places. It continues its daily escalation and aggression in the West Bank. Nevertheless, the so-called Israeli Minister of War announced the return of settlement activity to the usurped settlements that the Israeli enemy had previously evacuated in the West Bank. This is also a dangerous escalation and comes in the context of the enemy's attempt to entrench the occupation and control more of the land of the Palestinian people, through its continuous acts of occupation, usurpation, control, and transgression.

As for Quds, there was a serious and severe escalation, when the criminal Ben Gvir desecrated the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and spoke from there with hostile words against the Palestinian people, words containing threats, intimidation, insults, and violation of the lives of the Palestinian people. This incursion carried out by that criminal, who desecrated the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque through such an act, is an act of defiance to all Muslims and an insult to Islam and Muslims. Everyone should learn from the events and aggression taking place in Palestine, including the repeated attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque, to have a conscious view of what the Israeli enemy is really doing: that its aggression and war is comprehensive, targeting Islamic sanctities and the entire Palestinian people. The enemy speaks, and some of the complicit media outlets in the Arab world, which are serving America and Israel, speak with it as if there is only a confrontation between the Israeli enemy and Hamas.

The Israeli aggression is targeting the entire Palestinian people in all its components, especially civilians. Indeed, most victims are civilians, as they make the largest number of those killed by the Israeli enemy, which deliberately and indiscriminately targets everyone and bears malice towards everyone without exception. All these acts it commits—including usurping lands, imposing its control over lands and villages, displacing the population, looting properties, and committing murder crimes, abduction crimes, torture crimes in prisons, property looting crimes, and all types of crimes—are directed against the Palestinian people in all their segments, targeting everyone. It also targets the sanctities that are sacred to all Muslims. Therefore, its aggression is a comprehensive aggression, and the Ummah has a tremendous responsibility. No one who belongs to Islam and considers himself an Arab has the right to speak in an Israeli-like manner that aligns with the Israeli logic, which presents a fragmented, incomplete, unrealistic, and untruthful picture of what the Israeli enemy is doing, the scale of what the Israeli enemy is doing, and whom the Israeli enemy is targeting. Even if the issue were only at the level of targeting Hamas, Hamas is part of the Palestinian people, part of Muslims, part of Arabs. There is a human and Islamic responsibility towards any Muslim facing the enemies and targeted by the enemies of Islam and Muslims.

Therefore, the human conscience must awaken in the face of the continued perpetration of crimes, genocide, and comprehensive aggression by the Israeli enemy. There must be an awakening of the human conscience in general, and action must be taken within the framework of practical steps.

Since the beginning of the first month of the Israeli savage, criminal aggression against the Palestinian people, statements and condemnations have been issued from various countries and various institutions representing the international community or countries here and there. Statements, positions, demands, and denunciations have been issued, but they are not enough. There must be practical steps. The persistence of the Israeli enemy, the accumulated massive injustice, criminality, and tyranny committed against the Palestinian people, and the magnitude of suffering experienced by the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip necessitate practical action and steps at the entire international level, based on the awakening of the human conscience, as we have mentioned. Therefore, the demonstrations in American universities, European universities, and other countries must continue, as this student activity is driven by this humanitarian motive.

It is shameful for all people around the world to remain silent or merely observe the genocide committed by the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people in Gaza, and the most horrific crimes it commits. To watch such crimes and remain silent about them is a grave affront to humanity: Whoever watches them and then remains silent, about them has lost his human conscience. Indeed, his human conscience has died in the fullest sense of the word, and he has abandoned his humanity.

The demonstrations and protests in American universities are hoped to continue, Allah willing, despite the suppression and persecution, and despite the arrest of more than three thousand university students, including professors as well. Continuity is very important.

Likewise, the student and non-student demonstrations and protests in European countries have an important impact, and they represent a factor of pressure on European governments and regimes.

In this context, one of the developments of this week is the declaration of three European countries, recognizing the Palestinian state. Although it is an incomplete position, as it does not recognize the Palestinian right in its entirety, the right to all of Palestine, and although it is an incomplete step, it is a step of political importance, and the Israeli enemy has been greatly disturbed by it. We hope, Allah willing, that the effort and movement among the rest of countries will continue to declare a similar position, and we wish it would be a position at the level of truth and right—that is, to recognize the Palestinian right in full. That is because it is a fair, just, and rightful position. But even in the European milieu, if the rest of the European countries move towards a similar position, this will also exert political pressure on the Israeli enemy.

In fact, there is a great sense of embarrassment in the European milieu, not just embarrassment but also shame and scandal, because the Western regimes, in their claim of liberal values—values other than human and Islamic values—find themselves exposed, even at the liberal level. Where has freedom gone? Where have human rights, democracy, and the right to self-determination, and other rights gone? The Western world, which even speaks of the rights of cats and the rights of other animals, is now exposed as it contributes with the Israeli enemy to the commission of very terrible crimes against humanity and genocidal crimes perpetrated against the Palestinian people and the destruction of all rights, foremost among them the right to life, the very first right of man! All rights are violated. The faithless Western world finds itself in a shameful scandal in every aspect, due to the slogans it boasts of and tries to present itself with as a civilized world. Where is civilization if all rights have been violated, if humanity is being violated to this extent, and they are contributing to it?! They find themselves in great embarrassment and shame; therefore, they try to show some positions. However, some countries have somewhat advanced positions that even surpass some Arab countries.

As for the statement of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, in which he equated the victim and the executioner, it also comes in this context: the context of the great embarrassment, disgrace, and shame experienced by the unbelieving West, so it tries to present a position here or there. But such positions in which it (either as a regime, a party, or an institution, under any title) equates the oppressed from among the Palestinian people—who have the right to defend themselves and who are the rightful owners of the clear and unambiguous just cause—with the aggressor, the criminal, the usurper, the occupier, are positions that are not fair at all.

The statement of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court is not fair at all, as it does not rise to the level of justice, nor to the level of truth and right. How can he equate the criminal Netanyahu, and the so-called Israeli Minister of War, who are criminal aggressors, with the three Palestinian leaders, who have a just cause and are struggling in the way of Allah and in defence of their just cause, and the clear injustice committed against their people before the whole world, and whose hands have not been stained with crimes?! The criminal Netanyahu and the Zionist Israeli criminals are the ones whose hands have been stained with the horrific, abominable, and shameful crimes. How can he equate between these and those?! But this comes in this context: it is no longer palatable for them to remain completely silent about what the Israelis are doing, as this is considered a great scandal for them. So if they take any minimal position, they resort to equating the victim and the executioner. We do not expect them to be realistic, fair, just, or truthful. This does not surprise us from their side. We know that this is how they have been watching the clear grievance of the Palestinian people for more than seventy-six years. Where were they to seek justice?! Where was the West in all these stages but supporting the Israeli enemy?

But there is a great responsibility on Muslims more than others. Some Arab countries and some Islamic countries have welcomed the position of the three European countries that recognized the Palestinian state. They welcome the positions taken by other countries, but where are their positions?! Is it only at this level: to welcome what others take as positions?! Where are your positions?! The position of some Islamic countries and some countries in the Arab world of Muslims has not reached the level of complete severance of their relations with the Israeli enemy and a complete boycott in everything: at the economic level, at the diplomatic level, and at all levels. It has not reached this level which is one of the simplest levels. More than that, some Arab media outlets are still supportive of the Israeli enemy, advocating for it, and standing against the Palestinian people and the mujahidin in Palestine. And besides the media, there are certainly other aspects through which the Israeli enemy is supported by those states, by those regimes, who have not shunned and have not been ashamed to divert their media outlets to support the Israeli enemy. There is a very great responsibility on Muslims, and they must seriously move towards taking practical steps. That is because as long as the Israeli aggression continues and moves towards escalation and extends to Rafah, there is a responsibility for taking additional steps. Those statements, condemnations, positions, meetings, and summits we have seen are not enough. Indeed, those summits, meetings, ceremonies, and speeches are not enough. What is required are practical positions, practical decisions, and serious steps that have an impact on reality. This is what rises to the level of responsibility, to the minimum level of responsibility before Allah (Glory be to Him).

Regarding the steadfastness of the mujahidin brothers in the Gaza Strip in Palestine, it is a great steadfastness, and that is why the Arab states and other Muslim countries are supposed to clearly move towards supporting the mujahidin brothers in the Gaza Strip, to provide them with media support, political support, even the Arab countries that designated the jihadist movements in the Gaza Strip (Hamas, the Islamic Jihad movement, and others) as terrorist organizations were supposed to at least revoke this designation, as part of their support for the mujahidin in Palestine, and to describe them according to what aligns with truth and right as mujahidin, revolutionaries, and fighters for the rights of their people and in the face of the criminal enemies who are committing genocide. It is supposed that the Arab states provide support in all its forms to the mujahidin brothers in the Gaza Strip: political, media, and financial support. Those countries that have huge financial capabilities, why do they not provide financial support to the mujahidin and to all the Palestinian people, including civilians? Why do they not provide all forms of support for everyone there, as this is one of the requirements of their steadfastness there?

The mujahidin brothers in their great steadfastness have provided a real example that gives hope for the possibility of reaching victory and the possibility of steadfastness in the face of the enemy no matter how its crimes and capabilities are and no matter how much Western, American, and British support it enjoys. Nonetheless, where is the Arab cooperation, which is an Islamic religious responsibility, a moral and humanitarian responsibility, an ethnic and national responsibility, and a responsibility in every respect? Where is the support for the mujahidin in Palestine? They face ten military brigades that possess capabilities that no military force in the region possesses and that have very heavy air cover. Yet, in spite of their very limited means, they confront and resist them with great steadfastness, high effectiveness, and great valour in the cause of Allah (the Almighty), embodying the divine instructions. {'So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are believers'}. They mount the tanks of the Israeli enemy (Merkava tanks) to plant explosive devices on them and destroy them.

Confronting the enemy continues in the north, the centre, and the south of the Strip, and we still see acts of bravery, even to the degree of heroic and self-sacrificing acts, as in Jabalia and other fronts. They continue bombarding with missiles, and the enemies acknowledge that the alerts have jumped to seven daily alerts this week. This expresses and testifies to the extent of the failure and defeat of the Israeli enemy, for it has not yet reached the ability to prevent the launch of missiles from the Gaza Strip to the colonies near the Gaza Strip.

the acknowledgment by the media outlets of the Israeli enemy and the statements by military and political leaders about the failure they face, the impossibility of achieving their objectives, and the reality that they are in a state of confusion and they will not reach any result even if they continue on this path for years. There are also those Americans who admitted that the battle has no decisive conclusion. Indeed, the anxiety felt by the Zionists is an existential anxiety that continues and grows within Zionist circles as a result of that failure and defeat. They say that they are falling into the abyss and that they are not just going through a crisis, but are suffering from uncertainty about their continued existence and the survival of their occupying, usurping, criminal entity. The Israelis are experiencing this problem: their lack of reassurance about the possibility of the continuity of their existence and the survival of their occupying, usurping entity. This is more dangerous than a crisis. This in itself is a witness to the reality of their situation: Their presence is an illegitimate, unnatural, and unjust presence that is not based on any right, and their reality is a reality of occupation, usurpation, criminality, aggression, and injustice. Therefore, they do not live the natural condition that any people live in their land, for they are not in their land, in their homeland, or in their country. They are an occupier of the land of Palestine and a usurper of Palestine, which belongs to the Palestinian people. This reality is always troubling them and is a witness to the divine promise of their inevitable, unavoidable demise. {' the promise of Allah. Allah does not fail in His promise, but most of the people do not know'}.

Also, on the external level, the isolation and scandal of the Israeli enemy is increasing in its foreign relations and before the rest of the countries and states due to its very heinous criminal reality, which it has tried over the past years to cover up, to make the human memory in various countries forget about it, and to present a false image in its place. In fact, it has been exposed and appeared in its ugly, criminal, dark, horrific, shameful image. Its relations with many countries and states are now affected, and it is facing a problem and acknowledges failure in this context.

All of this also testifies that it is not fitting for any Arab country in the face of all this scene (at the international level, at the Arab level, and at the level of the reality and exposure of the Israeli enemy), to have an approach of seeking to enter into normalization deals in order to obtain American protection. From whom does it want to be protected? From whom does it want the American protection? From whom do you, as an Arab regime, want the Americans to protect you? Is it from your own people or from your neighbours? Relying on American protection is a wrong orientation and a wrong, failed policy.

If you want to be protected from your own people, then your relationship with your people, your justice towards your people, and your fairness to your people is what will benefit you. This is what will make you accepted among your people. However, if you are relying on American protection, others have relied on it before, so benefit from the experiences of others. There are regimes and leaders who previously did so: They relied on American protection to feel safe from their peoples and to be reassured that their peoples would not be able to resist their injustice, criminality, tyranny, and wrong policies. But in the end, they failed. The examples are many, and we are not in the context of enumerating them.

In addition, if you want to be protected from your neighbours and your Arab and Islamic surroundings, what will benefit you is to change your hostile policy. That is because you are the source of your own problem; it is not in your surroundings, in your neighbours, or in the other countries with which you are connected by the ties of Arabism and Islam. You have to change your hostile policies and orientations, to deal with them based on the principle of good neighbourliness, and follow the Islamic and Arab values in your dealings so that you can enjoy security and safety. This is what will achieve security and reassurance for you.

As for getting involved in deals to normalize relations with the Israeli enemy—after everything that has happened, after all that it has done, and after its true nature being revealed to such a degree of criminality, tyranny, oppression, and corruption—at the expense of the rights of the Palestinian people and the rights of the Arab and Islamic peoples, at the expense of the regional, national, and general security, this is a big mistake. It means aligning oneself with America and its policy which is always based on extortion, exploitation, manipulation, and milking, as Trump previously expressed—milking. The policy of milking, extortion, and pressure is a disaster for those who become subject to it and throw themselves into it—those who throw themselves into the arms of America and subject themselves, their resources, capabilities, security, and everything to American extortion and manipulation and the vile and terrible American exploitation. The Americans pay no attention to the interests of other countries. Rather, they care only about their own interests and the interests of the Israelis. This is what matters to them. They do not care (and we say this with absolute certainty) about the interests of any Arab country at all. What matters to them is their own interests and the interests of the Israeli enemy. Therefore, they invite their followers to be among the inhabitants of the blaze. America will always push those who depend on it and its erroneous policies into problems, entangle them in bad situations, and blacken their faces with disgraceful and blatant positions, leading them to renounce everything: their religion, their values, their morals, their homelands, their peoples, their Ummah, and every good thing they could belong to.

In shedding light on the fronts of support that stand with the Palestinian people, we begin with Iran and the painful incident that led to the martyrdom of the Iranian President Al-Sayyid Ibrahim Raisi, and his Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, as well as their companions (May Allah have mercy on them all).

Iran, first as a large Muslim country, is bound with us by bonds of Islamic brotherhood, so we share its grief. And in the face of this great calamity, we share its grief. The Islamic Republic is also the country that has taken a position on the Palestinian cause in a uniquely distinguished manner, unmatched by any Arab or Islamic regime on an official level and also within a frame of a steadfast and principled position that has not changed, neither by pressures nor temptations over all the past years.

Iran has also embraced and continues to embrace the major causes of the Islamic Ummah and the causes of oppressed peoples, including its position towards the oppression faced by the Yemeni people, which comes second to none at the official level. At the official level, there has been no strong, clear, and explicit position like the Iranian position to support the Yemeni people in the oppression they experience in relation to the American-Israeli-British-Saudi-Emirati aggression over the past years.

As for the martyr Iranian President (May Allah have mercy on him), he carried that Iranian position, expressing it with steadfastness, willingness, and boldness. That is, he embraced it as a spirit, a belief, and a principle and directed himself with it completely, strongly, boldly, and clearly. Therefore, his voice and position were clear, even at the level of summits and conferences for Arab and Islamic countries. Many leaders spoke with a tone that was always cautious of America, as they were keen on avoiding to say anything that might anger America, which is a very low ceiling, extremely low, lowering them in their words and positions below the level they should be at in what they say, decide, and express. In contrast, his voice, position, and direction stood out with a clear, bold, and strong position and with a high ceiling, not caring about American pressures or positions. Therefore, he expressed the Islamic revolution in a way that rose to the level it was in terms of its support for the Palestinian cause, without being influenced by political and diplomatic calculations or other files, including economic files and others. He stuck to principles, spoke boldly, and moved practically with all clarity.

He also, as one of the prominent leadership figures in the Islamic Republic, is considered an Islamic leader, among the leaders in the Islamic world of whom the Islamic Ummah has every reason to be proud, for he enjoyed remarkable qualifications at the moral, intellectual, scientific, practical levels, and beyond, as well as his positive role in his people and in his country.

In such a position of responsibility as a president, he was also a role model in performing his responsibilities and in his relationship with his people. And this is an important lesson for other presidents, leaders, and rulers, for he was distinguished by noble qualities. In his position of responsibility, he fulfilled his responsibility with great seriousness and great care. He showed great diligence in his work and in his care for his responsibilities, and he was humble and close to the people of his nation. He worked day and night, with great seriousness and humility and with closeness to his people, and his relationship with his people was very strong. Therefore, one could notice the massive million-person gathering in his funeral procession and the extent of grief among the Iranian people. Even since the early moments in which the news of the plane crash started to go public, many from the Muslim Iranian people began gathering in the streets in their thousands, praying, supplicating, and beseeching Allah. Very few leaders, rulers, presidents, kings, and princes in the Islamic world have such a relationship with their people: to have such love, respect, and appreciation from their peoples. On the contrary, the peoples of most of them invoke Allah against them instead of invoking Allah for them: Their peoples may always invoke Allah against them and pray to Him for deliverance and protection from them and their wickedness. So the evident grief, pain, tears, and sorrow displayed by the Iranian people serve as a clear testimony to this intimate relationship and the role he played in serving his people: He presented himself as a servant to his people, and the credibility of his commitment was clear in his actions, deeds, positions, and behaviours until his last moment of life. He set an important lesson, and he was a role model; therefore, it is crucial for those in positions of responsibility to learn from such a lesson. Overall, we repeatedly extend our condolences and sympathies to the Islamic Republic of Iran, both its leadership and its people.

Regarding the Hezbollah front, it continues with great effectiveness, escalating its strikes against the Israeli enemy. Israeli Channel 12 summarized Hezbollah's escalation by stating that its operations and escalation have witnessed a significant leap, reaching five times higher than in previous months. One of the leaders of the Israeli enemy stated that the situation in the north is unbearable. So the enemy acknowledges Hezbollah's escalation and the effectiveness of the strikes there, as it is an active front that is highly impactful on the enemy.

Regarding the Iraqi Front, the Iraqi resistance carried out five operations that targeted sites of the Zionist enemy in Umm Al-Rashrash and occupied Golan. And regarding the Yemeni front, before I go into the details of the operations, I will briefly speak about Yemeni unity.

In light of the conditions that our dear people have suffered and are still suffering from, as a result of the Saudi-American aggression on our country, which has led to the occupation of large parts of it and also resulted in building hostile formations against the people, against the homeland, and also against unity by external powers: the Americans, the Saudis, and the Emiratis—the coalition of aggression has sought to sow division to the highest level among the members of our dear people, and this is clear. Its media tools and hostile activities testify, as all them are based on sowing division among the sons of the Yemeni people under all titles: racial, sectarian, regional, political, and social titles. This means that the enemy spares no effort to strengthen the state of division and conflict among the members of our people and to work on creating severe enmities between the members of our dear people. Yemeni unity is a reminder to our dear people of how they should be, as this is what is fundamentally consistent with their faith-based identity. Everyone before the unity at that time, and even when unity happened, was reciting the saying of Allah (Glory be to Him), {'And all of you must hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not be divided'}. The religious responsibility and the national and collective interest of our dear people are to be unified. The problem is never in unity so that one can see in discord and division the solution. Still, there are other reasons for the problems that affect the sons of our dear people, foremost among them is foreign interference. There are countries and entities that have a problem and an issue with the unity of our dear people. They want this country to be torn apart, weak, divided, and plagued with endless problems in all fields, and they work on that. There are those who respond to them driven by ambitions, and likewise, some are driven by grudges. Some have deep grudges and resentments against some of their countrymen, and they want to take revenge through seeking the assistance of the external position and support and showing servitude to the external agenda. Thus, the external role on the one hand, as well as the ambitions or grudges of some people—sometimes both ambitions and greed combine together—have an impact on the problems faced by the country.

As for what is in harmony with the collective identity, the faith-based identity, and what embodies the true interest of our dear people, it is their unity, their cooperation, and addressing any problems or injustices through justice, integrity, and understanding, and based on the principle of fair national partnership. This is what benefits our people, and it is in the interest of our country.

Regarding the Yemeni front in the Battle of the Promised Conquest and the Holy Jihad, one of the first lessons related to the issue of unity and the current situation in the country, as well as the position of some people who are aligned with the coalition of aggression, it has become clear since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza who are the ones who took a position that expresses the popular will throughout the homeland: It is the will of the Yemeni people in all governorates, whether the southern, eastern, western, northern governorates or the central regions. In all parts of our country, the popular position of the people supports and stands in solidarity with the Palestinian people. The level the people want this position to reach is a very high level. It has become clear who has expressed this popular will and acted on it practically and seriously, within the context of what is truly possible and achievable. This is one of the important lessons.

Our operations, thanks to Allah (the Almighty), are ongoing. The armed forces continue their missile and naval operations. At the level of military operations, eight operations, with the assistance and guidance of Allah, have been carried out this week with fifteen missiles and drones, targeting the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean, with one of them was directed towards the Mediterranean Sea. The number of the targeted ships associated with the Israeli, American, and British enemies reached one hundred and nineteen.

Additionally, two American MQ-9 aircraft were also downed, one of them in the airspace of Ma'rib Governorate and the other in the airspace of Al-Bayda Governorate. The MQ-9 aircraft is one of the most important armed reconnaissance aircraft for the Americans, heavily relied upon in hostile activities; therefore, the downing of these two aircraft within a week (which brings the total number during this period alone to five aircraft) is considered a significant achievement for air defence and a major success.

As part of the targeting operations against ships, one of the ships targeted was a ship belonging to a company that violated the embargo and entered the ports of occupied Palestine. It was targeted as part of the fourth stage of escalation.

The effectiveness of the military operations and their impact on the enemies is evident, thanks to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. The American concern about the fourth stage has been acknowledged by a senior defence official, as reported by the media, openly admitting to feel great concern regarding the fourth stage and its extremely long range.

The Americans are exerting significant efforts to impede the progress of the fourth stage; they are actively involved in various defensive belts and activities, deploying a substantial number of aircraft with the purpose of intercepting and obstructing the targeting operations. They are even doing more than that, but they will fail. By Allah's grace, our capability-building process knows no stop, and our coordination with our mujahidin brothers in Iraq will also represent an additional contribution. Simultaneously, our direct operations from Yemeni territories will have a significant impact, Allah willing. There are promising developments in this regard, and they will witness, Allah willing, great, significant, and impactful momentum, just like the case with the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait.

Regarding the impact of the operations in relation to shooting down the MQ-9 drones, some of the published news reports state that India has backed out of a deal to purchase MQ-9 aircraft from the Americans. When they witnessed these aircraft being shot down in Yemeni airspace, they couldn't help but wonder: How can they benefit from them in confronting China or Pakistan if they have been shot down in Yemen in this manner? It means they are no longer in demand for the Americans to sell, their reputation has faded, and their aura has diminished.

Also, the escalating impact on the economic situation for America, Britain, and Israel is ongoing due to these operations at sea. That is because these operations have led to rising prices and maritime shipping costs: The majority of goods are transported via the seas, so any impact in this regard can cause a significant increase in prices. The impact has reached the point where the prices of lamb meat have risen in Britain. The people there were longing for tea, and they now face increased prices. Their economic problems have extended to their kitchens and homes, as well as affecting their various needs in life. The reason behind this is their association with the stubborn Americans, who persist in imposing starvation on the Palestinian people and perpetuating genocidal crimes against them.

Similarly, regarding the Americans, an American magazine stated that American consumers will feel the pain of inflation if the attacks in the Red Sea continue. Also, inflation in prices means the prices will increase in all goods related to maritime transport, which are numerous. Therefore, the impact on them reaches this level, and this is also attributed to the same reason: the stubbornness of the Americans and their insistence on continuing the siege of the Palestinian people in Gaza and perpetuating criminal acts of genocide.

Regarding the ongoing popular activities, they are continuing significantly:

  • The military mobilization and training have reached good levels, as the number of trainees has reached 327,105.
  • Other activities in the mobilization, including manoeuvres and military marches and parades, have reached over one thousand five hundred activities.
  • As for the demonstrations, marches, events, and seminars, they have reached a total of 557,380. That's more than half a million, which is an extremely massive number. There is no equivalent to this level of activity in solidarity with the Palestinian people in any country.
  • Women's public gatherings and activities, including seminars, have reached a total of one hundred and nineteen thousand, eight hundred and thirteen.

Our position remains steadfast, and our sense, feeling, and awareness of responsibility as Yemeni people towards supporting the Palestinian people will not diminish or waver, neither in the face of prolonged time nor in response to the enemy's escalation. It will not be affected or disrupted by the actions of those who are allied with or influenced by America or those who are connected to America, Britain, and Israel. The interaction of the Yemeni people is extensive, and they desire to do more and more. The ceiling of the Yemeni people is very high when it comes to their position in supporting the Palestinian people. In other words, what we are currently doing is to the best of our abilities, but what our people desire is greater. We have always wished and continue to wish for safe and open land routes that could enable the masses of our dear people to directly join the Jihad for the sake of Allah alongside the Palestinian resistance movements. However, the geographical barrier and the countries that hinder and separate us from Palestine have never been willing to facilitate safe land routes for the Yemeni people to travel and participate in that.

Therefore, with regard to the means and capabilities through which our dear people participate, there is a continuity in developing missile capabilities, and there is success in that, by the grace and guidance of Allah. Nonetheless, no matter what we do, the position of the people and the level they demand are still higher and greater, and this is a blessing. These dear people with their faith-based identity, with their living human conscience, and with their feelings and emotions translate the reality of their faith and belonging to the faith and embody the saying of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&), ‘The belief is that of the Yemenites, and sagacity is that of the Yemenites.

One of the most beautiful things I have heard expressing the level of interaction was from one of the dear fathers participating in the Friday marches and demonstrations in Al-Sab'een Square, in an interview with one of the national channels. Speaking from the bottom of his heart, he said (even though I can't remember all his words, but this is the essence of his expression) that If the missile force could turn him into a missile and launch him, he would be ready and offer himself for that, or if there was a substance in his body that the missile force could benefit from in the manufacture of missiles and this substance was in his body or in his blood, then he would be ready to sacrifice himself to extract that from him. This expresses the reality of the position of the people. You can find in the features of the people, in their faces, in their expressions, in their sincere talk, in their interaction, in their presence in Al-Sab'een Square and in the rest of the governorates and districts with serious interaction, desire, interest, and pain, carrying and sharing the Palestinian people in their pains and agonies, what testifies to the reality of this sincere position. This is a blessing, and this is a success granted by Allah, the Almighty.

Therefore, I call on our dear people to go out tomorrow (Allah willing) in the capital Sana'a in Al-Sab'een Square and in the rest of the governorates, in an honourable million-man march, expressing the steadfastness of our people, their loyalty, and their sincerity with Allah, with the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F), with their entire Ummah, with the oppressed Palestinian people, with the residents of the Gaza Strip, with the sons of the oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza and Rafah, and with the dear mujahidin brothers who are standing ready in their positions and fighting in the cause of Allah in the various fronts of fighting in the Gaza Strip.

I ask Allah to hasten victory and relief for the oppressed Palestinian people and to grant us victory. O Allah (Glory be to You), have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, and set free our captives. You are All-Hearing!

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
