Speech by Al-Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi on the Anniversary of the Martyr President Al-Sammad
3 Sha'ban 1447 A.H. (22 January 2026 A.D.)
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that our master Muhammad is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.
O Allah! Confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.
Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
Allah (Glory be to Him) has said in the Holy Quran, {'Among the believers are men who have proven true to what they pledged to Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their pledge , others are waiting . They have never changed in the least'}{Al-Ahzab 33:23]. This is the word of truth from Almighty Allah.
On the anniversary of the martyr President Saleh Ali Al-Sammad (May Allah have mercy on him), we remember him in honour of his giving, sacrifice, martyrdom in the cause of Allah, and significant contributions in the sake of Allah (Glory be to Him), his Muslim people, his Islamic Ummah, and just causes. Along with him, we also remember all his fellow martyrs who followed the faith-driven and liberation-oriented path of our people—a great path upon which Yemen has offered countless martyrs, across all levels of responsibility and in every arena of confrontation against the enemies of Allah, humanity, and truth.
According to the Gregorian calendar, yesterday marked the anniversary of the martyr Professor Ahmed Sharaf Addin (May Allah have mercy on him). He was among those who attained martyrdom in the cause of Allah (Glory be to Him), within the faith-driven and liberation-oriented path of our dear people in Yemen—the land of faith, jihad, wisdom, dignity, honour, and freedom. Many martyrs have walked this very path: elites, officials, and citizens from every governorate, who gave their lives while fulfilling sacred duties—faith-based, jihad-related, and practical duties—in service of the just cause of their noble Muslim people and their Islamic Ummah. Among them were figures from academic and university circles and senior officials, including the martyred Prime Minister of the Government of Change and Construction and his fellow martyrs (May Allah have mercy on all of them). Furthermore, in the military sphere and across all fields, there are martyrs who stand as witnesses to this people's steadfastness, resilience, unwavering adherence to the rightful position, and commitment to their just cause, while also bearing witness to the injustice imposed upon them.
The martyrdom of President Al-Sammad (May Allah have mercy on him), like that of all martyrs, stands as clear testimony to the injustice inflicted upon our dear Yemeni people and to the injustice endured by the martyrs themselves.
The injustice suffered by our dear Yemeni Muslim people is one of the gravest and most enduring injustices in the world today. It is an oppression of immense scale. This ongoing injustice has taken the form of American aggression, engineered through Zionist planning; overseen by America, Britain, and Israel; and executed by the coalition led by the Saudi regime. The Saudi regime bore the greatest share of this immense and appalling burden of injustice against our dear people, both operationally and through its assumption of direct executive leadership of the aggression.
As we have repeatedly affirmed, the aggression against our dear people is indeed planned by America, Britain, and Israel, under clear and acknowledged American supervision. Many American officials have talked about it, and the matter is so evident that the aggression was announced in America itself before any announcement was made from Riyadh. Additionally, the American role in this aggression has been clear from its outset and remains so to this day.
This unjust aggression against our country—during which the martyr Al-Sammad (May Allah have mercy on him) was targeted, along with thousands of our people—constitutes a comprehensive and unjust aggression. Throughout it, the coalition of aggression committed, and continues to commit, the most heinous and horrific crimes of every kind, foremost among them the crime of killing.
From the very outset, the aggression was marked by mass killing and widespread, indiscriminate targeting to this people, including the bombardment of residential neighbourhoods. From the first air raids, homes in the capital (Sana'a) were struck, with women and children among the principal victims. In fact, the aggression was sudden and carried out with treachery, taking our people by surprise. Over the following years—particularly during periods of escalation in this aggression, which lasted for nearly eight years—mass killing and acts of annihilation continued at a high intensity, driven by sustained aerial bombardment and comprehensive targeting.
The campaign of killing engulfed our dear people. The coalition of aggression targeted them in cities and villages, on roads, and inside mosques, markets, schools, and hospitals—in every place. Many of these crimes have been documented and made public, and they continue to be broadcast to this day through programmes, short videos, and media outlets associated with our people. These records bear clear witness to the scale of this injustice. Repeated scenes show people—children and women, the elderly and the young—being killed and targeted everywhere: in cities and villages, during social occasions (such as weddings and funeral gatherings), in markets, on roads, and even in hospitals. Thousands of martyrs were claimed among children, women, the elderly, and the young, through widespread, indiscriminate, criminal, and brutal targeting. Through this systematic targeting, the coalition of aggression demonstrated its deep malice towards this dear people and sought to break their will and shatter their morale.
Crimes of killing and annihilation constitute the central and defining reality of the injustice suffered by our dear people. The coalition of aggression initiated its assault against our dear people without any lawful justification and went on to commit the most heinous crimes of killing.
Alongside the bombardment and targeting came vast numbers of injuries and wounded victims. Tens of thousands were injured among children and women, the elderly and the young, with many left living with permanent and life-altering wounds. The suffering in this respect is immense.
Likewise, the plight of captives and abductees stands as one of the most prominent and painful manifestations of the injustice inflicted upon our dear people.
As for the comprehensive destruction, the coalition of aggression destroyed many thousands of residential buildings—the homes of ordinary citizens in cities, rural areas, and villages. It also targeted all categories of service, economic, and civilian infrastructure. These issues are typically highlighted on National Resilience Day, which marks the anniversary of the aggression against our country. Precise statistics document the enormous losses and widespread destruction inflicted by the coalition of aggression upon our people, our institutions, and our service facilities as a Yemeni nation.
The coalition of aggression targeted schools, universities, hospitals and health units, roads, bridges, service facilities, and even water tanks. The attacks spared no facility, extending even to a shelter for the blind—an atrocity that is almost beyond comprehension! Moreover, it targeted ports, government institutions of all kinds in Sana'a and other governorates, and many other facilities, with the details being extensive. The targeting extended even to livestock: sheep, goats, cattle, poultry, and chickens, including repeated attacks on chicken farms. Indeed, the coalition of aggression targeted many things. It targeted mosques, with hundreds of them destroyed by the coalition of aggression in our country. Archaeological sites, including Islamic landmarks and pre-Islamic sites, were not spared. Cemeteries were also targeted, with a large number struck by aerial bombardment.
In this way, the coalition of aggression indiscriminately targeted various institutions, facilities, and aspects of life in our country through hundreds of thousands of airstrikes, in addition to the ground attacks that were carried out.
Alongside this, there was another track of aggression against our country—an unjust one, and among the most brutal forms of injustice—namely the path of blockade and economic warfare, which deliberately targeted the Yemeni people's livelihoods. The coalition of aggression initially worked to seize control of the Yemeni people's sovereign and oil resources and deprived them of these resources, despite the fact that they represented the largest source of financial revenue used to fund salaries and provide basic services. Successive governments had relied on these revenues throughout previous stages, particularly concerning salaries and essential public services—of course, from what remained of it. Although Yemen's oil wealth had long been plundered by foreign companies, the remaining portion—however limited—was still used to cover salaries, basic services, and the like of things. Depriving the people of even this minimal share constituted a catastrophe for our nation, inflicting severe damage on the living conditions of the Yemeni people.
Our people were deliberately targeted through taking control of most ports (particularly in the occupied governorates), imposing an air blockade by suspending flights and shutting down airports, and enforcing the blockade through severe restrictions on incoming vessels; at certain stages, ships were completely barred from reaching Al-Hudaydah Port. This amounted to a deliberate attempt to suffocate our people by fully preventing the entry of food and medicine, as well as fuel and petroleum products. We all recall the profound suffering endured over many years as a result of this injustice.
In addition, the coalition of aggression engaged in various conspiratorial practices, such as targeting the Central Bank with its revenues and conspiring to impose severe restrictions on institutions and companies.
All of this was carried out under American supervision and American–British planning. The British role was particularly prominent, and at certain stages, the Israelis were involved in one way or another, reaching a direct role over the past two years.
Anyway, the economic war—which encompassed all of the above—also included targeting all (or most) factories, the majority of which belonged to business owners and the private sector, targeting ports, targeting markets, and targeting farms. Indeed, a large number of farms were bombed in order to burn and destroy them, along with their facilities.
Many other practices also fall under the heading of economic targeting. This economic war against our people is still ongoing—denying them access to their sovereign resources, enforcing blockades, and imposing various restrictive measures. Even ships heading to the ports of Al-Hudaydah—when do they actually arrive? They arrive only after prolonged obstruction and complex procedures, in which the United Nations itself has played a role—procedures that serve no purpose other than tightening restrictions and deliberately delaying ships from reaching port. As a result, traders are forced to bear heavy financial burdens through what is known as 'demurrage' charges. These costs are then added to the price of goods sold to citizens. The trader receives the cargo already burdened with large fines and excessive costs incurred simply to deliver it—costs that would not exist under normal circumstances anywhere else in the world. The trader then adds these burdens, along with profit margins, to the price of the commodity, which ultimately reaches the citizen at extremely high prices—at a time when our people are already suffering from exceptionally harsh living conditions due to this comprehensive blockade.
Another major dimension of the injustice inflicted upon our people is that the coalition of aggression has occupied vast areas of Yemen, many of which remain under occupation to this day.
This occupation covers a large and clearly defined geographical expanse, including most of the southern governorates (with only a few exceptions), many of the eastern governorates—a vast area of Yemen has been occupied and placed under the direct control of the coalition—the majority of Yemen's islands, and most of Yemen's territorial waters.
This represents a grave injustice suffered by our people and a major act of aggression. However, the coalition was not satisfied with this level of occupation; from the outset, it sought to occupy Yemen entirely. It sought to turn the whole country into an occupied land. There was a deliberate effort to turn the Yemeni people into one of the occupied peoples—those whose sovereignty, independence, and dignity have been usurped by the Americans and their collaborators, and who have been subjugated, humiliated, brought under control, exploited, and stripped of their wealth and homelands.
Indeed, were it not for Allah's grace, his mercy, his support, and the victory He granted us—and for what Allah ordained as the fruit of the efforts and sacrifices of the free people of this nation from all segments of society, who chose to take a just position and to uphold a rightful cause in confronting and resisting this aggression—Yemen entirely would have become one of the occupied countries. However, the blessing of our people's deep and authentic faith-based identity—Yemen, the land of faith and wisdom—has borne a vital and decisive outcome. Through this blessing, Allah granted success to the free men and women of this nation, across all its segments. They upheld this great stance, demonstrated extraordinary resilience, and remained steadfast with remarkable perseverance—steadfastness that has become an inspiring model for generations to come in confronting an aggression unprecedented in scale and severity in the entire history of our people.
The scale of this aggression (carried out by America, Saudi Arabia, and all those who aligned themselves with them and fought alongside them) against our people is unprecedented in both its intensity and its magnitude: hundreds of thousands of airstrikes, widespread destruction, a suffocating blockade, and extensive targeting in all its forms.
Therefore, were it not for Allah's support and assistance granted to our dear people, together with the blessings of the faith-based belonging of our people, Yemen today would have been among the occupied countries and enslaved peoples—stripped of freedom and dignity and robbed of independence. The situation would have been dire, as the enemies—once they tighten their control and occupation—know well what to do and how to weaken peoples, in order to be fragmented, scattered, and fighting over trivial matters, all while exploiting them extensively.
So if the Americans, along with their regional tools—the Britain, Saudi Arabia, and their allies—had succeeded in fully controlling and occupying the country, they would have exploited it for its strategic geographic location, using it to establish military bases; to pursue their projects, ambitions, and goals; and to loot its immense natural resources that still lie underground.
For instance, it is well-known that Hadhramaut, Al-Mahrah, and the eastern governorates in general, as well as other areas, contain vast oil reserves—a massive wealth of oil that is a target for the greed of America, Israel, Britain, and Saudi Arabia.
Moreover, Yemen's geographical position, overlooking the Arabian Sea, the Red Sea, and the Bab Al-Mandab strait—which is one of the most important waterways in the world—is one of the key reasons why spiteful, arrogant, oppressive, and highly covetous enemies are determined to gain total control over our country. If they had taken control of the country, they would have managed the conflicts among various forces—especially those enlisted to work with them—in ways they considered suitable, ensuring they remained engaged day and night in trivial disputes and conflicts, that aim to keep our dear people preoccupied and exhausted, under various banners such as political, regional, sectarian, or racial titles.
Americans know how to utilise numerous labels (turning them into dilemmas), how to manufacture crises, and how to exploit every problem to their advantage. When a people are devoid of awareness, belief, vigilance, and focus, it can be easily deceived, drained, and completely steered towards those titles around which remain embroiled in conflict and upon which they are constantly fixated, while leaving everything to the occupier. The real control, plundering resources, and dominance over everything remain in the hands of the occupier. Meanwhile, the forces that align themselves with the occupier remain trapped in this condition and are then further exploited in other conflicts, such as settling regional or international scores with one country here or another there—mobilising whoever they want. In fact, any country they can completely dominate and enslave is turned into a resource: Its people become exploited, consumed, and maximised in the most destructive manner possible; its geographical location is exploited; its resources are seized, and so on.
This is the reality of the American, British, and Western regimes. The disbelieving West operates on a basis of domination, looting, exploitation, occupation, the violation of other countries, and so on.
Therefore, we recognise the immense value and significance of what Allah has granted to our dear people and their free individuals, who stood steadfastly—this steadfastness reflects faith, freedom, dignity, honour, and pride—in confronting aggression. Moreover, the full magnitude and significance of the sacrifices and efforts of our people in Allah's cause, in upholding the rightful position and championing the just cause, is clear. This is because our people have taken the rightful position against the aggression—a position that embodies a duty that is religious, humanitarian, moral, and national, a duty in every respect—and they have held fast to a just cause: Our dear people have the right to be free, not to be subjugated by the Saudis, who themselves are subjugated to the Americans, the Zionists, and the Jewish lobby. It is their right to be free and to have control over their own decision-making, rooted in their faith-based identity and belonging.
Indeed, the oppression persists, and the issue remains. The occupation of vast areas of the country is still ongoing, overseen by America and Britain, backed by the Israelis, and carried out with direct Saudi involvement. Alongside the occupation, our dear people are deprived of their oil wealth and sovereignty. Moreover, the state of siege, economic restrictions, and the targeting of our people in their livelihoods is significantly ongoing.
Thus, the large-scale targeting of our people, in all its forms, has become an established and ongoing reality: The Israeli enemy has entered as a direct party to the aggression against our people, engaging in sustained direct confrontation—even with the United States—over a full two-year period. At the same time, there has been extensive mobilisation by many Western regimes linked to Zionism, which were deeply provoked by the principled stance of our dear people in supporting the oppressed Palestinian people in the face of Israeli aggression against Gaza and the comprehensive violations inflicted upon the Palestinian people for two years. This ongoing reality is upheld by all these parties, who are acting with increasing intensity. The American, Israeli, and British focus remains continuous and more pronounced than at any previous time.
Regional instruments, foremost among them Saudi Arabia, have, from the very beginning, operated within a framework that serves American interests. From the outset, the Saudi role has been directly tied to the United States, functioning within its sphere and framework and under its supervision—and it remains so today. Even at this stage, Saudi Arabia is unconcerned with unity or secession; what matters to it is complete control, occupation, and domination over the Yemeni people. This is clearly reflected in how it deals with those forces subordinate to it: It dictates not only the formulation of decisions, but also the tone and direction of media discourse.
We all witnessed, for example, what followed the seizure of Al-Mahrah and Hadramawt by Emirati-aligned forces—areas considered a red line by Saudi Arabia, as they fall within its sphere of influence. Initially, Saudi-affiliated forces adhered strictly to Saudi directives. Despite being humiliated, demeaned, and suppressed, they remained disciplined and compliant, across media discourse, decision-making, and political stance. Later, when Saudi Arabia adopted a more assertive stance, those forces functioned like a loudspeaker, with its volume raised or lowered at Saudi discretion. Decisions and political positions followed a single script, produced entirely under Saudi direction and under explicit American supervision—about which there can be no doubt. At that stage, some thought that Saudi Arabia was genuinely concerned with and keen to preserve Yemen's unity, only for the so-called 'Southern Consultative Meeting' to be convened in Riyadh under the banner of secession and beneath the Saudi flag.
The core reality is that Saudi Arabia has no genuine interest in either unity or secession. It seeks to exploit all available banners, just as the case with the armed formations operating under its command: some under a religious, takfiri banner, others under a purely secular one, and still others under a range of different banners. All such banners are manipulated solely for the purpose of exploitation, mass mobilisation, and recruitment—nothing more and nothing less. These forces and formations ultimately serve only Saudi Arabia's control over them; it determines their direction and internal affairs. They also serve the objectives it seeks to impose upon our dear people: domination, confiscation of political decision-making and independence, and overall control of their condition. And all of this unfolds under American supervision and in service of American interests and dominance. In short, the entire matter remains fully and directly tied to the United States. Saudi Arabia's role is merely regional, operating within a framework that serves American interests, alongside American, British, and Israeli control. Israel, in fact, has been involved from the very beginning; however, in the most recent phase, its involvement has become openly direct to an unprecedented degree.
Anyway, Saudi Arabia is not acting as a 'benevolent benefactor' or as a servant to any Yemeni mercenary faction anywhere. This reality is clear to people worldwide. It is performing a well-known role aimed at domination and appropriation within the broader American framework. Accordingly, it seeks to gain control over our country's political decision-making, the vast untapped natural resources in the eastern governorates and elsewhere, and the strategic geographic position that provides access to the Arabian Sea, Bab Al-Mandab strait, the Gulf of Aden, and other key locations.
All of this takes place within the overarching American framework. The United States seeks to exploit everything, relying on mobilisation and tactical manoeuvring to activate other actors—forces, governments, regimes, and various entities. Once a party is no longer needed, it is discarded; at times, it may be even turned into a target. The British role is likewise highly prominent in the Yemeni file at all levels, given the United States' reliance on Britain to draw upon its background and colonial experience in Yemen.
The targeting of the martyr Al-Sammad (May Allah shower him with His mercy) was carried out by both the United States and Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is directly implicated in the crime. As we have stated, the matter is certain, supported by details that attest to it and reveal the central role of the United States. Saudi Arabia therefore bears full responsibility, having led this aggression.
American targeting—whether directly, through America's instruments (including regimes and takfiri formations), or any other forms—constitutes an assault on the entire region. It targets Yemen and the region as a whole within the framework of the Zionist scheme, which has clearly defined, specified, and openly declared objectives. Israel has always been a central party in what the United States seeks to achieve in the region. No matter how much Arab and Islamic regimes seek favour with the United States; no matter how much money, services, or political support they provide; and no matter how extensive their cooperation—none will ever replace Israel in the role assigned by the United States for its exclusive and primary agent in the region. In other words, no matter how many services the Saudi regime and other Arab and Islamic regimes, may provide (including services, money, or even trillions), and no matter how many aggressive and criminal conspiracies they may carry out, how many wars they may fight, or how much intelligence, economic, and media support they may render to the United States—all of this will never enable any regime or group in the Arab or Islamic world to supplant Israel as the recognised and trusted agent in the region.
America seeks to benefit from all their roles; however, by its own characterisation, it treats them as nothing more than a 'milk cow' or 'servants'. They provide services from a position of servitude and subservience—nothing more. America exploits them to the extent it wishes and benefits from them as much as it can—after all, it sees the situation as an opportunity and considers exploiting it only natural.
However, there are truths that Allah has affirmed in the Holy Quran—and He is the most truthful of speakers. Allah says, {'Here you are! You love them but they do not love you'}. This is a truth stated by Allah, the One Who knows the unseen and the seen, what is hidden and what is most concealed; Who is All-Knowing of all His servants, for they are all Allah's servants and His creation; Who knows what lies within hearts and the depths of souls; Who knows what has been, what will be, and even what has not been—had it occurred, how it would have occurred. Nothing on earth or in the heavens is hidden from Him. He states this as an established truth, addressed to those who love the Jews, those who love the enemies of Islam: {'Here you are! You love them'}. He makes clear to them that even if their relationship were to reach this level of emotional attachment and affection—indeed, to the point of intensive infatuation—this would be of no benefit whatsoever, even for those Arabs and Muslims who are infatuated with Trump, the Zionists, the Jews, the Americans, and the Israelis. Even with this infatuation, if they were to give everything in their power—services and actions, fighting and hostility towards others, allegiance, and the full mobilisation of wealth and lives in service of America and Israel—the matter would still remain, for the Americans, Britons, Israelis, and the Zionists, one of exploitation and investment, accompanied by persistent malice, deep-seated hatred, and utter contempt in every sense of the word, together with ongoing conspiracy. Under any circumstance, at any stage, and at any time, they will either dispense with a particular party that serves them, or—if their interest calculations dictate that it is beneficial to eliminate it—they will eliminate it immediately, without hesitation. This occurs whenever their interests outweigh the benefit of keeping that party as a servant who fights, funds, or offers any form of service. Allah says, {'Never will the Jews or Christians be pleased with you, until you follow their faith'}.
This is also true of those who move forward believing themselves to be intelligent and genius, having rejected the truths affirmed by Allah in the Holy Quran and considering themselves more knowledgeable, wiser, more intelligent, better informed, and more judicious. Through political calculations, they imagine that they can achieve their goals, agendas, and interests within the American framework. Accordingly, they align themselves with America's policies, stances, and orientations, believing that this will secure them certain interests, gains, and objectives. By, doing so, they imagine themselves to be exceptionally shrewd, so much so that they feel no need to accept, or even pay attention to, the truths affirmed by Allah in the Holy Quran. Such people will ultimately discover the magnitude of their loss:They will inevitably lose in the end and will come to realise how foolish they were. They will see that others had previously followed the same path and made the same calculations: leaders, even within the Arab and Islamic worlds, who offered extensive services to America, yet gained no protection as a result. When it became in America's interest to dispose of them, sell them out, abandon them, or even strike and target them, it did not hesitate to do so.
In any case, American targeting is an assault on the entire region—an American, British, Israeli, and Zionist targeting—carried out as part of the Zionist project and Scheme to establish 'Greater Israel' and to 'Reshape the Middle East', with the aim of controlling this region, exploiting its human resources and strategic location, and seizing its considerable wealth, and more besides.
On the anniversary of the martyrdom of President Saleh Ali Al-Sammad (May Allah have mercy on him), we recall—while honouring his contribution, his martyrdom, and his role—his major part in confronting the aggression, his defence of his people, and his commitment to their just cause. We also recall his refined and exemplary model in fulfilling responsibility during his tenure as President.
The first of his outstanding qualities was his faith-centred spirit in the discharge of responsibility—a trait of the utmost importance. This is among the most vital attributes a person must possess in any position of responsibility: maintaining a living, faith-driven spirit in all actions. His actions should remain rooted in faith—carried out for the sake of Allah, in pursuit of nearness to Him, and always directed towards Him. This spiritual orientation should not fade, nor should one's activity, concern, motivation, or performance become merely functional, as though one were simply carrying out a routine official task. Rather, when placed in a position of responsibility, he becomes even more devoted and oriented towards Allah than before, because the additional responsibilities assigned to him are part of the obligations between him and Allah.
This is the way a true believer thinks, and it is what distinguishes this approach from other attitudes—those of people who see a position of authority as something to be exploited for personal interests, personal desires, personal status, or personal considerations, whether moral or material, or in any other form. The faith-based approach is fundamentally different. A person in any position of responsibility regards himself as bearing responsibility before Allah (the Almighty), and he knows that Allah will hold him to account for any negligence or shortcoming, and so he is keen to fulfil his duty to the best of his ability, thereby seeking to draw closer to Allah through that very service. His concerns remain directed towards Allah, focused on what he hopes from Him, as he strives to earn Allah's pleasure above every other consideration.
A person should maintain a spirit of faith in fulfilling the duties for which he feels accountable before Allah. Therefore, his commitment to such duties should arise from a faith-based perspective that sanctifies responsibility, recognises its importance, and understands the grave danger of negligence towards it. He should place his trust in Allah (Glory be to Him), and his state should not change negatively upon reaching a position of responsibility or authority. Rather, he should remain committed to his faith-based duty and the righteous deeds through which he draws closer to Allah (Glory be to Him).
Among his defining qualities were a profound sense of responsibility, steadfast patience, unwavering integrity, genuine humility, deep commitment, and tireless dedication day and night. There are many qualities, some of which we have addressed in previous speeches.
Also relevant here is the injustice inflicted upon him and the American targeting of such leaders—those whom the enemy does not tolerate seeing in positions of leadership and responsibility: free leaders who embody faith-based responsibility and are sincere to their peoples and their Ummah, devoted to Allah (Glory be to Him), and committed to upholding the just causes of their Ummah. This is because America seeks that even those occupying the highest positions of responsibility among our peoples and in our region be degraded to mere servants of America—figures at the level of police chiefs serving its interests, or leaders of groups serving American and Israeli interests, and so forth.
This is about targeting this Ummah. America seeks to eliminate all free systems, individuals, and independent popular movements, for it regards them as an obstacle that stands in the way of its dominance and its subjugation of the peoples of this region.
We are an ummah that is under constant targeting. Even choices such as liberation, independence, and dignity are not merely the reason for this targeting; rather, America, as we have stated, regards these choices as obstacles and seeks to eliminate them as such. However, even if the Ummah follows a path of 'capitulation', as some put it—such as reaching understandings with America or Israel on the basis of so-called shared interests, under slogans like peace and normalisation—what America and Israel seek is complete control over this region: its peoples, its wealth, and its strategic geographical position.
American arrangements are not arrangements of genuine peace, normalisation, or stability; they are aggressive arrangements aimed at this Ummah—domination, appropriation, and exploitation. This is a clear and undeniable reality.
For this reason, we observe that even in the context of agreements—for example, in the Gaza Strip—an agreement is reached, yet what occurs after the agreement? The Israeli enemy continues to commit acts of killing on a daily basis: killing children, killing women, killing the elderly and the young alike. The siege continues, with only minimal quantities of food and essential necessities permitted to enter. The entry of tents and mobile housing units is prohibited, among many other restrictions. Indeed, the entire world witnesses the scale of suffering endured by the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip in all its forms, especially health-related suffering. The Israeli enemy continues its killings and siege, keeps crossings closed, prevents the entry of tents, caravans, and mobile housing units, and persists in all forms of oppression, injustice, and abuse against the Palestinian people.
In addition, what does the Israeli enemy do in the West Bank? The West Bank is under the leadership and authority of the Palestinian Authority, whose chosen approach is based on agreements, peace, and similar slogans, along with full relations with the West and the United States, and obedience to American directives. Despite this, all forms of aggression are carried out by the Israeli enemy in the West Bank.
If we consider, for example, the situation in the Gaza Strip one hundred days after the agreement, we find the following:
- The Israeli enemy has killed hundreds of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
- More than one thousand have been injured.
- More than two thousand five hundred buildings and homes have been destroyed.
- Heinous and horrific crimes have been committed.
- The siege and restrictions continue unabated.
All forms of suffering are endured by the Palestinian people, especially with low-pressure systems, rainfall, and other hardships.
As for the West Bank, all forms of aggression are clearly evident, as can be seen through daily news coverage. These include the displacement of the Palestinian population, the continued expansion of what is termed 'settlement activity', and killings. In addition, brutal and criminal practices are carried out from one area to another, involving targeted assassinations and systematic destruction. Entire areas, such as Jenin, have endured a full year of destruction, and a newly announced campaign is now underway against Al-Khalil. There is a comprehensive pattern of targeting, daily torture, and continuous oppression. Such practices include killing, looting, robbery, widespread destruction, the burning of crops, the looting of agricultural produce, the killing and theft of livestock, abductions, and physical assaults against people of all ages, including the elderly and children.
Alongside this, there are continuous violations of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, with near-daily incursions. Regrettably, these violations have become almost routine for many Arabs and Muslims, with meaningful responses largely absent. A process of conditioning has taken place across the Arab and Islamic world, whereby such violations are viewed as ordinary daily occurrences. At the same time, there are ongoing efforts to confiscate the Ibrahimi Mosque in Al-Khalil, along with other continuous acts of aggression.
As for Lebanon, the same pattern persists despite the existence of agreements and guarantors. The Israeli enemy continues its killings and destruction, repeatedly violates Lebanese airspace, carries out incursions, and conducts air raids and aerial bombardment. In short, all forms of aggression continue. Abductions also persist, with no release of those previously abducted, as a large number of detainees remain in Israeli captivity. Thus, this pattern of targeting persists, despite the existence of agreements and guarantor parties.
As for Syria, we all know what is happening there, even as it remains under the control of groups aligned with America and ready to normalise relations with the Israeli enemy. Indeed, they consistently stress that they are not hostile towards it and that they maintain a peaceful posture and seek to position themselves as one of the regional parties allied with Washington—an alliance they have openly declared. Despite that, violations continue in Syria. Although an agreement was reached, these violations persist on a wide scale: control over southern Syria, unchecked incursions and raids, the occupation of extensive areas, and the violation of Syrian airspace, among other actions.
Thus, the conspiracy against the region as a whole remains a standing and ongoing reality. The Israeli enemy, together with the U.S., gives no weight to agreements that are supposedly guaranteed, despite their clarity and clearly defined provisions.
There has also been an announcement of the second phase in the Gaza Strip. Yet the first phase itself demands assessment: What did the Israeli and American sides actually implement? How extensive were the violations and the failure to honour commitments? By contrast, the Palestinian side fulfilled all its obligations in full, as did the Lebanese side. As for Syria, there was effectively nothing left for it to offer—it had already given everything, and all of it proved futile.
Then came the announcement of the Trump Council, branded as 'the Board of Peace'. In reality, however, it is purely the 'Trump Council': All its points and provisions relate to Trump, revolve around him, and serve his agenda—one defined by domination, bullying, and tyranny, money-grabbing, and the blatant seizure of other peoples' wealth and resources.
There is little need to expend effort in explaining Trump's character. It bears the clear stamp of the Zionist orientation and greed—American, Israeli, British, and broader Western greed. He is not an anomaly detached from the American system; rather, he is its most overt and unmistakable model. This is the essence of the matter with regard to him.
It is clear that the Trump Council's top priority for what is called the second phase in the Gaza Strip is to strip the Palestinian people of their weapons—even ordinary personal weapons—and to make investment there. Indeed, there has long been an open, explicit focus on investment in Gaza, and Trump has repeatedly spoken about his plans, ambitions, and intentions regarding investment in the Gaza Strip, including its territorial waters and oil and gas resources. This is not to mention Gaza's strategic location. Anyway, Trump has repeatedly addressed this issue.
Therefore, the Trump Council will not fulfil the hopes and aspirations of Arabs and Muslims—not even of those regimes that have joined it. Instead, it will focus first and foremost on American and Israeli interests, while exploiting others. People will see this in the coming phase, even though the picture is already clear so far.
American thuggery is clear—it is even clearer than ever before. The American and Israeli greed and ambitions are now exposed:
- We all know what is happening now regarding the Danish island of Greenland and how the Americans are pushing for full control over it, even though they already have military bases there. The island's authorities and residents have already left the door open for the Americans to pursue economic investment. Therefore, they already have military bases in place and can even strengthen their military presence there without objection, and the door is also open for them to benefit from Greenland's wealth. Indeed, Denmark and those concerned on the island have left the door open for them. Despite all that, the Americans are still not satisfied!
This is a major lesson for the peoples and regimes of our Ummah. After all that, the Americans say, 'No!' What they want is complete possession. America is not satisfied with merely having bases or access to the island's wealth and the rare minerals; rather, it insists on full takeover.
- The treatment of Latin America is another example, where the U.S. has subjected its peoples to humiliation and oppression and plundered their wealth and resources. The details are numerous.
- Consider what it has done to Venezuela, and the continuous pressure it maintains against it. It was not content with open, shameless bullying and exposed aggression, including the abduction of Venezuela's president and his wife. It openly declares that its goal is Venezuelan oil and resources and Venezuela's strategic location.
- Take, for example, what it has done to other countries in Latin America over the past decades: persecution, plundering of wealth and resources, interference in all internal affairs, and the overthrow of governments. The examples are many, but going into them would make this statement too long. We leave that task to the media and our media outlets. These are detailed facts from which our peoples can benefit.
- Other examples involve what it did in Japan and Vietnam, as well as what it did—and continues to do—in our countries, including Iraq.
Therefore, our peoples and this Ummah as a whole must understand that what the Americans practically pursue is different from those fake slogans they raise for deception. No matter the American slogan of peace, our Ummah will never attain peace through Trump, the Israelis, and the global Zionist lobby. The American project in the region is one of targeting, domination, and control; it is about plundering resources and, at the same time, removing any obstacles.
Their targeting of the Islamic Republic was intense, but it failed completely. The criminal gangs mobilised by America and Israel inside Iran collapsed entirely. Full control of the situation rests with the Iranian people and the Islamic system, and America has now suffered a resounding failure there.
Therefore, in all the countries of this region, we must possess awareness and vigilance. We must never be deceived by the slogans raised by America. No matter how much some regimes beat the drums for these slogans or promote them, they are nothing but deceptive slogans.
What truly matters and brings success and good to this Ummah lies in moving with a free and independent will. Any activity that is an extension of America, Israel, or Britain—whether carried out by sons of this Ummah or in the form of regimes or groups serving America, Israel, and Britain—is an unjust, corrupt, and false activity. There is no good in it for our Ummah and its peoples; rather, it falls within the framework of targeting this Ummah. Our refuge, as Muslim peoples and Islamic countries in the Arab world and beyond, lies in acting on the basis of our Islamic, faith-based identity in its pure form, so that we may be a free ummah. This is what Allah wills for us, and this is where our good lies. We must also seek Allah's help and place our trust in Him while taking the necessary means. This is essential to stand against these challenges and all the conspiracies of the enemies and rise as a free, strong, and independent ummah. We must place our trust in Allah (Glory be to Him), for He is the best of helpers and the best protector.
No matter the scale of the challenges, hardships, and conspiracies, the salvation of our Ummah lies in placing trust in Allah (Glory be to Him) and in acting in accordance with His guidance and teachings and holding fast to this faith-based identity. The Americans were able to annihilate the Red Indians in America, and they seized control over many countries, leading their populations to extinction or assimilation. This is because that these peoples did not possess an identity like this great Islamic and faith-based identity. Adhering to this identity correctly grants our Ummah divine support and victory. This identity is founded on great values and great principles that make this Ummah a free, aware, perceptive, and wise ummah—one that is not deceived by its enemies, does not submit to them, but stands with full faith-based might, pride, steadfastness, and resilience. It becomes an ummah that possesses the moral elements necessary for its firmness, as well as the practical means to which Allah has guided it, and thus it is granted victory, support, and right guidance from Allah.
The true hope for our entire Ummah is Allah (Glory be to Him) and what He has guided to and pointed out, and that it moves within this correct orientation. It must not forget Allah, nor be heedless of Him, the Almighty. It must not place its hopes in its enemies, nor serve their interests under any banner: religious, political, or otherwise. All the deceptive slogans raised by the enemies are intended to mislead this Ummah.
We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us success in seeking what pleases Him. O Allah! Have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives, and grant us victory. You are the Hearer of Prayer!
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
