Speech by the Leader Al-Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi (May Allah protect him) on the American-Israeli Aggression Against the Islamic Republic of Iran
Saturday, 11 Ramadan 1447 A.H. (28 February 2026 A.D.)
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that our master Muhammad is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.
O Allah! Confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.
Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
The brutal American–Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran forms part of Zionist efforts to enable the Zionist Israeli enemy to dominate the region under the banner of 'Reshaping the Middle East', in pursuit of their well-known aggressive objective of 'Greater Israel'.
The American–Israeli assault on Iran is an unjustified attack on a Muslim country—an unjust, blatant, criminal, and brutal act—targeting the Iranian Muslim people, its official institutions, and its Islamic system. It has even targeted a girls’ primary school, resulting in the martyrdom of dozens of students.
The Islamic world as a whole should stand in solidarity with the Iranian Muslim people and the Islamic Republic, and adopt a sincere, serious position, offering all forms of cooperation and solidarity with it and utilising political pressure and all means of influence to halt this aggression.
The Islamic Republic of Iran, with its brave revolutionary guards and valiant army, is fulfilling its sacred jihad duty of legitimate defence and confronting the enemies with full strength. It has targeted the Israeli enemy and American military bases in the region, and it possesses formidable military capabilities and the means to inflict severe harm on the enemies, as well as the free will and courage to take the decisions and measures necessary to confront this aggression. The leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran possesses faith-driven resolve, a spirit of jihad, sharp insight, and an unyielding will to remain steadfast.
Our position in Yemen, both the state and the people, is one of full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Iranian Muslim people. We are ready for any necessary developments. As for this aggression against Iran, there is no reason for concern: Iran is strong, its stance is firm, and its response is decisive. In reality, it is fighting the battle of the entire Muslim Ummah against American–Israeli Zionist tyranny. Its great steadfastness and decisive response serve the interests of all Muslims and of all free people worldwide. For that reason, it is the duty of all to stand in solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran, to support it by all means, and to press for an end to this aggression.
Standing with the Islamic Republic of Iran and the dear Muslim Iranian people is an Islamic and moral duty upon all Muslims, and it serves the interests of the Islamic world. This is because the Islamic Republic is fighting the Ummah’s battle against brutal American–Israeli tyranny that targets the Ummah as a whole.
The targeting of American bases in the region by Iran’s armed forces and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is a legitimate right and should not be regarded as an attack on the countries in which those bases are located, whether in the Gulf region or elsewhere. There is no doubt about this. These are American military bases participating in the aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which therefore has an established right to target them.
In keeping with our Islamic and moral stance of solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran and based on our firm conviction regarding the aims of the American, Israeli, and Zionist enemies behind this aggression—namely, enabling the Israeli enemy to dominate the region and removing any obstacle—as well as in line with our readiness for all developments, we will act through various avenues, including public activities and mass demonstrations.
Therefore, I address our dear, striving Muslim Yemeni people, emphasising the importance of a million-strong turnout in wide-ranging public demonstrations in the capital, Sana’a, and across other governorates tomorrow, Allah willing, in accordance with the time and locations specified by the organising committee. This mobilisation is part of our Islamic duty to stand with a Muslim people, a Muslim country, and an Islamic system that is fighting the Muslim Ummah’s battle against its enemies—those who target the Ummah as a whole. This is also part of our full readiness for any developments in this battle.
In this blessed month, it is especially important for Muslims to act in accordance with their Islamic duties and responsibilities—foremost among them this stance of solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Islamic Republic’s steadfastness and decisive response serve the Palestinian cause and the causes of the Ummah as a whole. This also serves the interests of all peoples of this region. The Islamic Republic of Iran stands today as the greatest obstacle for the Americans, the Israelis, and global Zionism, and they view it as a major problem they must remove in order to lay the groundwork for dominating the peoples of this region, humiliating them, subjugating them, and coercing them. Therefore, standing in solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran is in the interest of our peoples and directly concerns them as well.
On the media front, our engagement must be robust—across social media, satellite channels, and all forms of media—in solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially in response to the efforts of certain Zionist-aligned mouthpieces that seek to become part of the American–Israeli Zionist aggression through psychological warfare against the Iranian Muslim people and the peoples of the region.
Iran’s position, by the grace of Allah (Glory be to Him), is strong, grounded in steadfast faith-based resolve and broad public awareness, as it confronts a thuggish, arrogant, unjust aggression—one that has no legitimate grounds for such actions against the Iranian people and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to bless the Islamic Republic with His victory—its Revolutionary Guard, its valiant, striving army, its Islamic system, its believing, striving, patient leadership, and its Muslim people.
O Allah, grant us victory, have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, and set free our captives. You are the Hearer of Prayer!
