The local authority in Hodeidah province on Wednesday condemned the crime of raping a child in Hays district by one of the aggression's mercenaries.

The local authority said in a statement that the so-called Noman Saeed Abdo Salem had raped his wife’s seven-year-old daughter.

The statement indicated that the repetition of such crimes in the occupied parts of the province is a clear evidence of the criminal aims of the aggression and its tools.

The statement noted that the child and her family were detained by mercenaries after she was rushed to a hospital, who are also trying to pressure them to give up the case, which has met with great public discontent in the district.
