The Government Media Office, on Friday, June 27, warned on Friday that narcotic pills of the type "Oxycodone" were found inside flour bags that had been delivered to citizens from the so-called "US-Israeli Aid Centers."
In a statement, the office expressed concern about the possibility that some of these narcotic substances may have been deliberately ground or dissolved in the flour itself, which would increase the scope of the crime and transform it into a serious attack directly targeting public health.
The Media Office held the Israeli enemy fully responsible for this heinous crime, which aims to spread addiction and destroy the Palestinian social fabric from within, as part of a systematic policy that constitutes an extension of the crime of genocide.
It pointed out that the Israeli enemy's use of drugs as a soft tool in its dirty war against civilians, and its exploitation of the blockade to smuggle these substances as "aid and assistance," constitutes a war crime and a serious violation of international humanitarian law.
The statement added, "In just one month since their establishment, these centers (death traps) have led to the martyrdom of 549 citizens, the injury of 4,066 others, and the loss of 39 starving civilians, in a bloody scene unprecedented in the history of humanitarian work."
