The Women’s Committee in Yemen’s Hajjah governorate organized widespread solidarity vigils under the slogan: “We will not remain silent in the face of Gaza’s genocide and the desecration of our nation and holy sites.”

Participants condemned the United States and the Zionist entity for committing genocide and using starvation as a weapon against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

They described the massacres as crimes that expose the hypocrisy of those who preach about rights and freedoms while backing the worst atrocities in modern history.

A statement issued during the vigils denounced the silence of Arab regimes, holding them complicit in enabling Israeli crimes through inaction and political cover.

The organizers welcomed the announcement by Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi to consider further measures against the Zionist entity, affirming their full readiness to face any consequences resulting from such decisions in support of Gaza.

The statement concluded by reaffirming the Yemeni people’s steadfast support for Gaza and Palestine—rooted in their faith, identity, and commitment to standing with the oppressed.
