It confirmed that the death toll of starving “livelihood” victims, who were shot by the Israeli occupation forces near alleged humanitarian aid distribution points, has risen to 1,706, while more than 12,030 were wounded, noting that hospitals received 51 martyrs and 230 wounded in the past 24 hours.

The ministry stated that the death toll since March 18, 2025, has reached 9,752 and the wounded to 40,004, bringing the victim toll since October 7, 2023, to 213,303 martyrs and wounded.

“Gaza hospitals recorded four new deaths due to starvation and malnutrition over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims of Israeli starvation and malnutrition to 197, including 96 children,” the ministry said.

The ministry noted that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulance and civil defense crews.
