The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that the death toll from the genocide caused by Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 61,599 martyrs, in addition to 154,088 wounded with varying degrees of injuries.
In its daily report, the Ministry of Health in Gaza stated: “Hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 100 martyrs over the past 24 hours, including 11 recovered from under the rubble, along with 513 wounded.”
The ministry added that 31 martyrs and 388 wounded were admitted to hospitals during the same period, bringing the total number of victims who arrived at medical facilities in the “livelihood” area to 1,838 martyrs and more than 13,409 wounded.
According to the report, since March 18, 2025 — the date marking the occupation’s violation of the truce — the toll has reached 9,989 martyrs and 41,534 wounded.
The Ministry also confirmed that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble or lying in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them due to ongoing hostilities.
In the last 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip recorded five additional deaths — including two children — as a result of starvation and malnutrition, raising the total to 227 deaths, among them 103 children.
