The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement strongly condemned the brutal Israeli aggression that targeted the southern suburb of Lebanon’s capital, Beirut, on Sunday, describing it as a blatant violation of Lebanese sovereignty and a part of the Zionist entity’s open war against the nation.

In a statement issued today, the movement said this new aggression constitutes a renewed violation of the ceasefire in Lebanon, similar to the breaches occurring in Gaza, and a violation of all international covenants and norms. It emphasized that the Israeli entity remains the source of terrorism and destruction in the region.

The movement held the U.S. administration responsible for the escalation of Israeli aggression against Lebanon and Gaza, highlighting that it provides cover and support for Israel to continue its attacks.

The statement reaffirmed the movement’s solidarity with the Lebanese people and their resistance against the criminal Israeli aggression, underscoring Lebanon’s legitimate right to defend its land and sovereignty.

It also called on the masses of the Arab and Islamic nation to unite and consolidate ranks in confronting the Zionist enemy, which targets the entire nation and the region as a whole.
