Deputy Foreign Minister and Expatriates Abdulwahid Aburas received a written message from the head of the leadership council of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Engineer Mohammed Darwish, regarding the approval by the so-called Israeli Knesset of a law to execute Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons.

The message addressed what it described as a serious violation by the Zionist decision of the rules of international law and international humanitarian law.

Darwish called for the imposition of international punitive measures on the occupying entity, the activation of international accountability mechanisms, the provision of immediate and effective international protection for Palestinian prisoners, and the exertion of intensive diplomatic and legal pressure to halt the implementation of the law.
