Iran’s Police Commander, Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Radan, stated that Iranian forces stationed along the country’s borders remain fully equipped and on high alert, with “their fingers on the trigger.” He emphasized that the security and stability of Iran’s borders during the “third imposed war” are incomparable to previous periods.

Brigadier General Radan said that the enemy had targeted military sites in its attacks, indicating the strategic importance of this sector. He added that, during recent operations, security forces arrested more than 100 individuals linked to terrorist groups.

He further noted that security forces had seized more than 3,000 weapons, along with large quantities of live ammunition and bladed weapons. In addition, Radan announced the confiscation of 6,000 surveillance devices and tools, with suspects connected to these items also taken into custody.

In the same context, Radan stated that during the “Isfahan operation,” the enemy reached a level of confusion and incapacity that led it to bombard its own units before fleeing the area. He added that the enemy “did not anticipate receiving such a crushing blow” from Iranian forces.

Earlier, Brigadier General Majid Mousavi, commander of the Aerospace Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said that during the ceasefire period Iran has accelerated the process of updating and replenishing its missile launch platforms and drone systems, surpassing pre-war levels.

A ceasefire between Iran and America has been in effect for two weeks since April 8, 2026, mediated by Pakistan. However, Iran has stressed that its forces remain on high alert, particularly in light of deliberate actions by the American president to impose a blockade on its ports—prompting Tehran to reimpose the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
