The Commander-in-Chief of the Army of Iran, Major General Amir Hatami, affirmed that the army is now at the height of readiness and capability, and it will stand against any threat or hostility through revolutionary insight, under the leadership and guidance of Mojtaba Khamenei, and with the strength and support of the Iranian people.

The remarks came in a congratulatory message issued by Hatami on Friday marking Teachers’ Day.

In the message, Hatami said that the Iranian army today draws lessons from professors, teachers, and honorable trainers, while adhering to the valuable teachings of the two Imams of the Islamic Revolution and relying on precious experience, particularly during the eight years of the Sacred Defense and the recent cowardly wars.

He added that the army fully recognizes the necessity of continuously enhancing its capabilities and defensive readiness in order to carry out its critical mission of safeguarding independence, national sovereignty, and the system of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the best possible manner.

Hatami further stated that the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran is prouder today than ever to be more prepared than at any previous time, standing strong with revolutionary awareness under the guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei and relying on the power and support of the great Iranian nation to confront any threat or aggression, as it has done in the past.
